Session starts Mistfire 4th 800av at 6:00 AM
- The party awakens, and meets downstairs. Shain is using magic to identify the items he acquired from Vexmortis, the rest of the party makes fun of Shain for using magic, chanting words sitting at a table.
Shains Shopping Trip
- The party promptly split up, Shain goes to a magic item shop.
- He looks around the The Twisted Spire.
- It is very busy and he has to wait in line. He asks where scrolls are.
- He also sold the White garments and necklace that he took off Vexmortis for 25 gold.
- He grabs a total of three scrolls that he wants to buy. [Banishment, Dispel Magic, and Revivify].
- There are many magic casters there, none of which catch his attention.
- Banishment - 890 gold, Dispel Magic - 150 gold, Revivify - 5000 gold.
- He buys only Dispel Magic.
- As he is on his way out, a wizard catches his eye. He asks the wizrd about the weave, asking if there has been any change. To which, the wizard replies that he has been using magic since he was a young child, and has felt no difference. Shain also asks Edgar about Karsus, to which he gets a simple ‘I didnt do well in school’.
- Shain notices that the man is an elf.
Most of The party at the General Store
- The rest of the party goes to a general store. Aerendyl wants to get items to upgrade Yinlare’s bow.
- The party1 enters the large general store. Whereupon, both Aerendyl and Yinlare’s eyes lock upon a dark elf in the back of the store. They only see darker skin and pointy ears.
- They decide that Aragorn will lead the way and interact with the dark elf. Aerendyl and Yinlare will sneak up to and prepare to attack the dark elf.
- As they approach, they notice that it is a female, young dark elf, with a male childm ~6 years old in human years equivalent, with him.
- Nero stays at the entrance to guard, but begins puking into a trash can.2
- They speak to the dark elf, utilizing many tools at their disposal, including magically appearing as a dark elf. The eventually obtain the following information:
- The dark elves believed they were fighting for their land, and that Thalassiril was the aggressors.
- The woman’s husband was killed in the war.
- She is a refugee, and there are very few refugees, only women and children, as they escaped through the Azerli Mountains.
- They blame the fall of Xerosil on The Raven Queen.
- During this discussion, Aragorn decides that this woman is not deserving of death, and makes it clear that he will protect her. He also mentions how he used to be royalty, but does not elaborate.
- At some point, Nero was puking so hard that medics appeared and took him away.
- Eventually, Aerendyl and Yinlare agree not to kill the woman as she is a victim of “her nation’s propaganda”
- Aerendyl feels as though his parents and nation would disapprove of him letting the dark elf live.

Progression of plot
- Shain uses sending on Karsus saying “Master, are you alive?” Unfortunately, there is a 3-5 day shipping time for sending to gods.
- Shain sends a message to Eldon asking for a ride. Sadly, Eldon responds saying he is in jail in Treltonia under the mistaken belief that he is a smuggler.
- The party decides to move on with their plan the made previously
- They finally decide on a general game plan, they will return to Bremstone and look about, before heading to the mountains, moving upwards checking the cave with the sands, then to Treltonia.
- the party embarks on their rides, Aerendyl on his horse, the rest on the cart.
- They decide that Nero will catch up on his own.
- As they are traveling, they see the same Lorskan Trading Co that they stole from previously.3
- They arrive into Bremstone after 3 days of travel. The gate that they were expecting, is gone, destroyed by the soldires. All the buildings are boarded up, there are very few people here. Shain plays with the idea of going down and speaking to the dragon that Aerendyl saw previously.4
They session ends as the party is leaving Bremstone at Mistfire 7th 800av at 11:00 AM
