Session starts Skyfire 23rd 800av 6:00 AM
- Aerendyl woke up in a honeymoon suite, rose pedals everywhere, chocolate on the nightstand, heart shaped bed, with a pony in the room. He proceeds to escape out a window.
- Shain catches him escaping and offers help. The rest of the party shows up shortly after (except Thardem as he went and got drunk)
- The party discusses plans, Aerendyl informs them of the side quest from Knick, and Shain informs the party of the request by the queen.
- The party decides to head toward Lumin, and then to Bremstone. It will take 4 1/2 days to get to Lumin with Shain casting Haste II.
- On the first night, they rest with Shain casting small hut. When they awake, they notice footprints scattered about. Shain uses Visions Of The Past to see who where there. He sees three masked individuals who communicate with hand signals and whistling.
- They move on, eventually coming upon a tent.
The Great Heist
- Shain scouts out the tents, and figures out that it is a traveling trading group. (un-named, Lorskan Trading Co)
- The party arrives to see two dragonborns standing outside the tent. Galtek tries to sell Aerendyl running shoes, as he is under the mistaken impression that Aerendyl will be running a race against a team known as dark elves, of course in reality Aerendyl was asking to wipe out the race of dark elves, as in genocide.
- While the discussion continues, Shain uses identify to understand that the shoes are just well made regular shoes.
- While the discussion continues forevermore, Shain heads inside the tent to browse the items. He comes across a single spell scroll. Amtec tells Shain that they are unaware of the magic that the scroll possesses. Shain uses comprehend languages and figures out it is Power Word Cringe. However, he bluffs (lies) to Amtec and claims it is a common cantrip.
- Meanwhile, the discussion has finally lead them to an understanding. Galtek figures out that Aerendyl actually just wants to kill all dark elves and offers him a very fine wand, capable of casting fireball at 6th tier.
- Aerendyl gives Galtek his pinkie and ring finger as collateral to hold the wand. Shortly Kairos points in the distance claiming he spotted a dark elf. Aerendyl in blind rage readies the wand.
- Shain was following this entire exchange through his crow. When suddenly he gets a fantastic idea. He sneaks to the area that Aerendyl was looking and casts disguise self to appear as a dark elf. He then said
Im mister meeseeks, look at me!. Kairos grabs Aerendyl and throws him with extreme speed, Aerendyl uses his sword and attempts to hit the newly appeared dark elf. Unfortunately, the dark elf uses shield and blocks the attack. Shain temporarily makes himself visible just to Aerendyl and asks not to be killed. Simultaneously, Shain’s crow flies into the tent, grabs the spell scroll, and goes into his pocket dimension. Furthermore, Aragorn stealthily grabs the wand that Aerendyl dropped earlier. - The party then runs away.
