Caitlin: Oh, you’re huge.
Aragorn: Whoa, whoa, whoa.
Shain: Good. All right. Control-A’s. Control-A’s.
DM: Yep, welcome.
Aerendyl: to control age.
Aragorn: Jiu, jiu, jiu, jiu.
Caitlin: I hear your camera’s not on.
Aerendyl: Okay.
Caitlin: I hear your camera.
Caitlin: You’re too.
Caitlin: What was the half session?
DM: All right, shut up. Welcome to the 43rd and a half session of the NB.
Aerendyl: Yes, yes, yes, yes.
Shain: Yes, sir.
Aragorn: Yes, sir, then.
Aerendyl: What was the half session?
Caitlin: Not a lot.
DM: You know how many many sessions we’ve had?
Shain: Yeah. Like three, four.
DM: According.
Caitlin: I think Dwight can finish a girlfriend and getting a fiance was pretty much more than
DM: Well, many sessions are not full party. So yes, whenever you guys split up that counts as half session.
Aerendyl: According to your sleepy ass.
Shain: I don’t know.
Aragorn: You know, I mean, when I start punching a kid,
DM: Anyways, um, you guys need.
Aerendyl: Hey, there’s a reason it’s called a fantasy game.
Caitlin: a half session.
DM: Nope, it was just a half session to me.
DM: Why do you guys seem to bully children a little too often?
Caitlin: Him bullying that child.
Aragorn: why make them bullyable?
Caitlin: Him bullying that child was pretty rough.
Shain: Don’t you dare.
Aerendyl: Yes, yes.
Caitlin: Maybe when I’m working my weenore.
Caitlin: He.
DM: Fair enough. All right, you guys need a, um,
Caitlin: This is cobbles.
Aragorn: Yes.
DM: you guys need a recap of last session more or less?
DM: Alrighty, session started on moon blossom 30 second at 3 p.m.
Aragorn: Oh, that’s my birthday.
DM: Uh, that’s not correct. That’s supposed to be, uh,
DM: oopsie. And I’m smart. Uh, at 11 a.m. Sorry, uh, to, uh, uh, yep, that’s still incorrect.
DM: Airborne wakes up around 4 a.m. I can read. I promise.
DM: To an argument as a door, blah, blah, blah, blah. Essentially, he missed a roll call.
Aragorn: I’m so happy.
Shain: 113.
DM: He got in trouble for that. He had to make those types of mistakes.
Aerendyl: you
Shain: Special great sorcerer.
DM: Then he gave you the oopsie days. He’s sorry. I forgot your special grade like that.
DM: Um, essentially, uh, they tell you a.m.
DM: Head to the North gate. Your, your squads showing up.
DM: Uh, you met them. There are a whole bunch of cadets that are really green.
DM: And then you immediately said, let’s throw you right to the deep end and let’s go investigate some
DM: undead weapons dealer. You did some investigation, met up with the party. Um, they
Shain: Thank you.
DM: explained that they have their meeting set for later today. Um,
DM: then air-gorn did the exact correct thing to do when you’re immediately given authority over cadets.
DM: And that is telling them to go do their own thing for a while because you’re busy.
DM: Um, and you took a small group, uh, Silas, Seraphina, Grum, uh, Torven and Bored,
Aragorn: Thank you.
DM: and took them with you to the place for, uh, the undead arms dealer. Um,
Shain: 1.
DM: then you guys just kind of started heading that direction. You got to about the center of the city.
DM: And that is where the session ended. Um,
Caitlin: You forgot the subplot where dragon was a dumbass bitch.
DM: did you guys just want to continue making your way there? Yeah, yes sir.
Shain: What?
Aragorn: You’ve been a dumbass bitch.
Caitlin: No.
DM: There’s plenty of subplots that are just not beating to the mentioned, but I don’t particularly
Caitlin: No, we needed to try.
Aragorn: Shut your bitch ass up.
Aragorn: All right. Let’s continue.
DM: remember him being, are you talking about the Stink and breaking it to the place down here at the
Caitlin: Dragon was like, no, dragon was like, you didn’t let me break into a building, so I’m
Aragorn: Yeah. Like flex its child.
Caitlin: not going to help you.
Caitlin: And then Andrew was like, and then he did.
Caitlin: You forgot the subplot where dragon was a bit.
Aerendyl: Anything you’re going.
Aragorn: Yeah. I’m just chill like that.
Caitlin: Oh, thanks though.
DM: bottom right? That’s not, I wasn’t last session. That was a session before last.
Caitlin: No, last session he convinced him though.
Caitlin: Andrew kind of convinced Dwight.
Caitlin: Took like 15 minutes of dragon going, no, and Andrew going, yes.
Shain: I’m not sure if you’re going to be able to do that.
DM: I see, I see. Yeah, I’m not fixing that. Um, give me 12 seconds.
Caitlin: He.
Aragorn: I’m so happy.
Shain: You know, it’s a miracle this group exists,
DM: All right. Sorry guys. I’m back. Um,
Shain: but also sometimes I wonder how we’re still functioning.
Aerendyl: Okay.
Caitlin: off
Shain: On the dot.
DM: I’ll give you five more seconds.
Caitlin: Thank you for watching and thank you all.
Shain: Five more seconds.
DM: I’m sorry it was six. I’m wrong. Um, it was this word like. Yeah, that’s what that was.
DM: Totally wasn’t six seconds. Give me back my drink. Yes, I actually bought myself.
DM: All right. Um, anyways, so that’s what happened last session. Uh, did you guys just want to
Caitlin: What was the plan?
DM: continue making your way up there? It’s not necessarily dark enough. Uh, it,
DM: it’s important to my vlog. It’s only around like 7 30. So like the sun is very yearly.
Aerendyl: Yes.
DM: Yes sir.
Caitlin: What were we doing?
Caitlin: We talked about staking the area out, which I think we came to the fact it was a bad idea.
Caitlin: Because you would notice.
Caitlin: You were doing something with the recruits.
Shain: We have a new arrival.
Aragorn: Do I have anything with our kids?
Caitlin: I don’t know what I was doing.
Aerendyl: I even arrived at.
Shain: Yeah.
Caitlin: You had the recruits with you.
Caitlin: You’re doing something.
DM: No, you guys have not arrived. You are in the city. It is 7 30 ish. Your
Aragorn: Yeah.
Aerendyl: No.
DM: meantime is 10 30. So you have a couple hours before.
Caitlin: Yeah.
Aragorn: I took five so that we could ambush him.
Aragorn: How’s it?
Caitlin: Oh, what?
Aragorn: He put my sake.
Shain: Yep.
DM: Peace one by then happen.
Shain: I like it.
Shain: You got 6000 gold to spare.
Caitlin: Shane, let me…
Shain: Yeah, the guys running a bargain for it.
Caitlin: Hello there.
Caitlin: This way OK.
Shain: To contact my hopeful friend that’s still hopefully alive,
Caitlin: Alright, here’s some gear stuff.
Caitlin: I have a solder gun…
Aragorn: I’m so happy.
Shain: most likely dead.
Shain: Rebellions are built on hope.
Caitlin: Hey, cou bum burrah, dear.
Shain: He’s talking to his mommy.
DM: You’re your mom. Yes, and hi.
Caitlin: thank you until at home that you know
Shain: Okay, that’s something weird.
Shain: Tell your mommy I said, I tell.
Aerendyl: That was my dad.
Shain: Tell your dad.
DM: Ah, that’s fine. I’ll just text you mom.
Aerendyl: That’s even.
Caitlin: the
Shain: Yeah.
Caitlin: and
Aerendyl: I keep forgetting butter has my mom’s phone number.
Aragorn: I have, I have Hilton’s mom’s Instagram.
DM: All right.
Caitlin: I have a math useful number.
Shain: Um.
Aerendyl: I’m not going to be able to see.
Aragorn: Actually his mom followed me first.
DM: All right. Yeah, that’s not difficult to get moving on.
Caitlin: Bear. Have your mom’s phone number.
Aerendyl: Milk.
Aragorn: I have your mom.
DM: Okay, well, that’s cool. Don’t use that. Um,
Shain: No.
DM: um,
Caitlin: What are you joining us?
Aerendyl: Okay.
Aragorn: Oh, uh, uh, uh, uh, Joe.
Aerendyl: Um, guys, do I spend six thousand?
Aerendyl: I spend six thousand gold on an item that may or may not work.
Shain: Shame on you.
DM: would you like a vibe check?
Aerendyl: Yes, butter, give me let me do a five check.
DM: That’s going to be some religion.
Aerendyl: Yes, sir.
Aerendyl: That is a 14 for vibes. Wait.
DM: Yeah.
Caitlin: Wait.
Aerendyl: I’m not taking a long rest.
DM: Hmm. Your vibes relatively neutral. Not necessarily good. Not necessarily bad.
Aerendyl: What if I snub my toe in a rock and black damn that’s making me rethink this advantage.
DM: That’s not how vibes work.
Caitlin: What are we doing for?
DM: Uh,
Aerendyl: Oh, no, yeah, I use all my luckies and flashes of geniuses.
DM: well, he uses his stuff in like 0.2 seconds.
Caitlin: Well what can I get back to my room?
DM: Wait a minute.
Aerendyl: I really do.
Aerendyl: Well, it’s because these guys suck.
DM: Hang on, hang on, hang on.
DM: You are correct. I, I, I am wrong because that is the time assume you guys took a long
DM: rest because if I remember correctly, it was, uh, it was earlier.
DM: Let me, let me, let me check the, uh,
Caitlin: the
Shain: We fall asleep on the road.
DM: let me check the other logs one second.
Shain: Oh, that was a good sleep.
Shain: Yeah, but I feel the doing it.
DM: Okay, I am incorrect. It should actually be closer to like 4 4 30.
Shain: Yeah.
DM: Not 11. I apologize.
Aerendyl: I do need a long rest before we would go.
DM: Not 11, but not, not like seven.
Caitlin: one you’re no longer stolen for hours only a handful of
Aerendyl: I will take a long rest before we made up with them.
DM: Okay.
Caitlin: Money is your money.
Aerendyl: Like you’re literally you’re trying to play the good character in a party of people who are not necessarily good.
Shain: Morely.
DM: More like gray. That’s how I, that’s how I’d say, uh,
Aerendyl: Yeah.
DM: yeah.
Shain: Very.
Aerendyl: Shane was originally like the goody two shoes and then he was like playing with us.
Aerendyl: He’s like, I don’t need to be good.
Shain: Yeah, because I’m not in my world, dude.
Aerendyl: This isn’t Shane’s world.
DM: This is virtual reality.
Aerendyl: It doesn’t make sense.
Shain: This is sort of online.
Aerendyl: I’m an NPC.
Caitlin: My name is Arkees Eko Kayaba.
Shain: You’re more than that.
Aerendyl: Kill yourself.
Caitlin: What was the one who just said sword art?
Shain: Okay.
Aerendyl: You’re the one who had to be weird about it.
Caitlin: Yes.
Aerendyl: My name is Aki.
Caitlin: Oh, do I know where you’re going?
DM: I’m like, you’re too funny.
Shain: Anyway.
Aerendyl: Some of the Alice from the hit campaign from Nate.
Aragorn: You’re so.
Caitlin: And how?
Aerendyl: Sorry.
Aragorn: I thought you meant to say.
Aerendyl: I would like to take a long rest before we leave.
Caitlin: Not me.
DM: You’d like to do who now what?
Aerendyl: I want to take that long rest before I would leave.
Shain: And the.
Aerendyl: So I would take four hours while Shane’s pondering on his huge penis.
DM: Uh.
Caitlin: I.
Aragorn: Oh.
Aerendyl: You heard me.
DM: Does anybody else want to like do anything like, can I get just like the general
Shain: Yeah.
Caitlin: you
DM: overview or are we just basically time skipping to around meetup time or what?
Aerendyl: Well, if I had a long rest and we went to the shop and I did the vibe check, it would have been a 19.
DM: Guys see, I see. So we’re going to the shop after the fact.
Aerendyl: Yeah.
Aerendyl: How was the vibe?
DM: Does that correspond with you?
DM: um, uh, uh, Lux is going to the shop after the fact.
Aragorn: I’m so happy.
Caitlin: what
DM: The vibes feel better. I’m going to be honest.
Caitlin: You’ve got a long rest.
Aerendyl: I’m not sure.
Caitlin: I’m not gonna touch you.
Aerendyl: Sounds very sexual.
Caitlin: Alex, let me touch your Rubik’s cube.
Caitlin: Damn it.
Caitlin: Fuck.
Aerendyl: Let me touch your ruby kid.
Caitlin: I’m touching that fucking Rubik’s cube again.
Caitlin: Dude, I saw the birth of the universe last time I touched.
Shain: I can.
Caitlin: I want to do it again.
DM: I’m so sorry, my friends. My father lied to me inside he was going to fix me food and
Caitlin: Or a universe.
Aerendyl: I was on streams.
Shain: I don’t even know what this thing is.
Aerendyl: By streams.
Aerendyl: I mean my peanuts.
Caitlin: I’m not gonna touch you.
Aerendyl: How much gold do you have Shane?
DM: then didn’t so I stole his food and now he’s saying he’s going to fix me food. So we appreciate
Shain: Okay.
Shain: Okay. Well, there you go.
DM: him greatly.
DM: Anyways, back to what we were doing. So yes, the vibes work better. So what you doing with that?
Shain: Gifted a gap.
Caitlin: Give to dad.
Shain: Yep.
Aerendyl: You mean a thousand and twenty?
Shain: Well, about 120.
Shain: Yeah.
Caitlin: I’m gonna let Gold from you.
Shain: Sorry.
Aerendyl: So I need a hand you five K.
Shain: I can’t count.
Shain: Well, you don’t have to.
Shain: I mean, to be fair, all this is doing is.
Shain: I’m hoping that car.
Shain: This is still a god and assuming that he is.
Shain: If not, then well, so shot in the dark.
Aerendyl: I’m not even going to make a joke about it.
Aerendyl: So five K.
Shain: Basically, I think it was like six out of 100.
Aerendyl: How much gold do I need for the night talk?
Shain: That’s pretty.
DM: You do actually don’t know.
Aerendyl: I don’t know.
Aerendyl: I just know that I have enough money for it.
Caitlin: You said you knew you had enough.
Caitlin: Why are you looking for more?
DM: You were never given a price. You have no idea what you even have right now is enough.
Caitlin: What?
Aerendyl: If I give Foxy 5K gold, then I don’t know.
Caitlin: You told it.
Caitlin: Oh, then you won’t.
Caitlin: You probably won’t have.
Caitlin: How much money do you have right now?
Aerendyl: Ten K.
Caitlin: I don’t.
Caitlin: If you, it’s got.
Shain: This is.
Caitlin: Yo, yeah, you made a vibe check and you told him.
Aerendyl: I do actually because I met a game and you told me.
Shain: Okay.
DM: Oh, right, right. Whenever I met, okay, we’ll keep in mind that there’s things I factored in that you might not be thinking I’m factoring it.
Caitlin: Yeah, you said he has enough for it.
Caitlin: You said the amount of gold in his inventory is enough.
Aerendyl: Look back to the logs.
Caitlin: We just don’t know where that is.
Aerendyl: Yeah.
Caitlin: Dude.
Shain: I’m.
Aerendyl: I’m not sure.
Aerendyl: Well, after this whole expedition, we could go there.
Caitlin: I think there are only 10 days sessions ago.
Aerendyl: Every one seems to be focused on revenge like a younger me.
Shain: I thought he would have picked up on that lead because they seem to know
Shain: something about him or at least they want him for something.
Shain: And right now.
Shain: You know, yeah.
Aerendyl: It’s been a while since.
Shain: You made a lot.
Aragorn: I don’t care.
Shain: What’s your 20 sessions ago was three months, four months ago.
Aerendyl: Normally Shane, I would give you the funds.
Caitlin: I’m gonna let Gold from you.
Aerendyl: But you see, I’m in the in the fixings to get a great weapon.
Shain: Oh, good.
Shain: And it’s fine.
Shain: Like two and be fair.
Aerendyl: And that’s going to cost me a lot of gold.
Shain: We can just steal it if I really wanted to, but I don’t know.
Aerendyl: So I’m going to hold off from now.
Shain: I just like.
Aerendyl: True, but it just has to be me and you.
Shain: Not least.
Aerendyl: We can’t go stealing with the others.
Aerendyl: We know how they are.
Shain: Well, I don’t think.
Aerendyl: We could bring Erragorn along and his bossy.
Shain: Well, I don’t think we should get the military involved because then.
Shain: We’ll have problematic stuff.
Aerendyl: I mean, let’s be honest here.
Aerendyl: His military pals only only only serve him now.
Aerendyl: Not the actual military.
Shain: Do we know this?
Aerendyl: Surely we can, surely we can make them not talk.
Aerendyl: We have certain ways of doing that.
Shain: Silence.
Aerendyl: Cut their tugs off.
Shain: Okay.
Shain: I was talking about more magical essence, not necessarily cutting their body out.
Aerendyl: Oh, you always go for the magical first.
Caitlin: You
Aerendyl: I go physical.
Shain: See, because I don’t have any physical.
Shain: I’m limp.
Aerendyl: I’m going to dagger.
Aerendyl: I’m about to go pick up 40 of them.
Shain: Oh, no, I’m good.
Shain: Thank you.
Shain: Couldn’t swing it if I wanted to.
Aerendyl: There’s something the only thing you can swing.
Aerendyl: Let’s go to the place.
Shain: You want me to show you a hair and down.
Aerendyl: No.
Shain: Oh, you know, you know, you know.
Aerendyl: I didn’t even know it was the person existed in this world.
Shain: Anyways, well, it does for shame.
Aerendyl: If you could go then.
Aragorn: James flaccid, flopping cock comes out of his pants.
Shain: Okay, I already traded Nate that so.
Caitlin: Okay.
Caitlin: I must have not been awake for that one.
Shain: Yeah, you were.
Aragorn: Yeah, you are asleep when he slapped his penis across your face.
Shain: Okay.
DM: Time skip. Okay, so just to make just to make sure I understand because I was not following half of that conversation.
Shain: All right.
Shain: Moving on.
Shain: Time skip.
Shain: Mm hmm.
Aragorn: I have to be still lovers.
Aerendyl: Love us.
Shain: Um.
DM: We’re times skipping to just a little before you meet with what’s his name. The undead guy. All right, fantastic.
Aerendyl: you
Shain: Uh.
DM: Well, as we time skip, okay, and you guys are doing whatever it is you do with the sky is getting, you know, the sun’s going down.
DM: It’s getting dark on yards.
Shain: Seems good to know.
DM: At about give you takeish, 30.
DM: And there are bells that start going along all of the walls throughout the entire city.
Shain: BUUUUUNFLY
Aerendyl: Well, then I can say for true
Shain: What?
DM: They don’t seem to be, you know, notifying of anything like previously, you know, they’ve rung the bells or there’s been word of mouth that may people excited, like for example, the statute.
DM: But this seems more like a everybody to position something is happening like, you know, the whole nine yards.
Aerendyl: We need this tell
Aerendyl: the
Aerendyl: name of the
Aerendyl: person.
Shain: Oh, great.
Aerendyl: Also to
Aerendyl: questions of
DM: It’s rapid ringing of the bells.
Aerendyl: Someone’s joking out of there.
DM: What do you guys do?
Shain: Oh, eight?
DM: I should ask, where would you be around this time?
Aerendyl: What time is it?
DM: It’ll be about eight 30 ish.
Shain: I’m wearing their Auradļæ½ tougher so I’m a little bit better.
DM: Okay.
Aerendyl: So we’re on me and Chien are currently on the way to the meetup to where Errorgorn said
Caitlin: Yeah, cuz we’re all playing together.
Aerendyl: to meet up.
DM: It’s a place to the north of here.
Aerendyl: Which I’m pretty sure was the field where he first originated when we encountered him.
Aragorn: Yeah.
Aerendyl: That’s okay.
Aerendyl: Yeah.
Caitlin: I would be with him as well.
Aerendyl: Is that a shake Nate?
DM: Where exactly would you be with your ultimately is that like you’re just because previously.
Caitlin: What is now?
DM: Yeah, according to the to what you originally said, the rest of your people went to go patrol or whatever votes.
Caitlin: Yeah, we didn’t take the whole 20.
Caitlin: We just took the five with us.
Caitlin: Yeah, send them back.
Caitlin: We don’t need all of them with us.
Aerendyl: infection and
Caitlin: That’s what we were doing.
Caitlin: That’s what we like to call a dead giveaway.
Aragorn: We’re not bringing all of them with us.
Aragorn: Okay.
Aragorn: I would say we’ll probably be like around like hand with.
DM: So in that case, one group is going to be like kind of in the city are going to be kind of outside over here.
Aerendyl: Jange Zersur.
DM: Why do you look so distraught?
Shain: Wow, that’s how far off.
Caitlin: Okay.
Aerendyl: I’m not a peep your DM.
Caitlin: Answer it.
Shain: What? No! No, no, no, no!
Aerendyl: Does anyone else get these messages during D&D?
Aragorn: He wants to be too unloaded in his mouth.
Aragorn: He burnt my shank.
Shain: No, no, I just… He just… You just term me unspecifically.
Aerendyl: We’re just sending like a random gift.
Aragorn: Get what messages.
Aragorn: Wait, why messages.
Aerendyl: It’s just sent me a gift of that guy with that big tub of water exploding and just goes me inside you.
Shain: No! Okay, what’s that a while? It skips, but like… It’s tradition, all right?
Aerendyl: He knows it happens every week.
DM: Anyways, yes.
Aerendyl: Get on shoot him, my girlfriend.
Aerendyl: No, maybe.
Caitlin: Yeah, we fought.
DM: So the alarm bells are going off very loud and people begin to force panic as does happen whenever alarm bells are going off.
Aerendyl: No.
Aragorn: Yeah.
Shain: But he’s just gonna grow dark…
Shain: No!
DM: And because of the the the rapidity of the alarm bells, of course, your unit just directly looks at you, airborne as the official leader looking for instructions.
Shain: Low I can get zero, miss.
Shain: I see.
DM: They’re obviously expecting a specific for you to get.
Aerendyl: You
DM: And then really in most instances, yes, however, as far as you can tell, they’re alarm bells from all across the walls.
DM: So anywhere there is an alarm bell, they’re all ringing.
DM: From where you are, it would probably be this place or this one.
Caitlin: Okay, I’m gonna let Gold from you.
Caitlin: Wait.
DM: Okay.
Shain: your military. You’ve got to do the use of the contract.
Caitlin: Hang on.
DM: Would you go to the one that’s closer to the south or would you just go for the closest me this one? Okay.
Caitlin: Enter, wait, hang on, hang on.
Caitlin: If I’m with you, enter, hang on.
Caitlin: There is a chance small.
Caitlin: This may be intentional.
Caitlin: Scott found out if a LARBELS are being triggered this might be a setup.
Aragorn: I mean, I don’t care.
Aragorn: I got to report anyways.
Caitlin: Yeah, but if you already have a task at hand, keep the five that we have and toss and
Shain: I don’t know if that’s right.
Caitlin: pick whoever’s in charge with the other 15 towards the bells.
Aragorn: I’m not throwing 15 without me.
Caitlin: Pick what? That’s why I said pick one in charge.
Caitlin: What is your plan when we go to the guy anyway? We’re not taking all 20 with us.
Aragorn: No, we’re taking the five that it shows.
DM: I will remind you just what a record. These are all equal ranked cadets fresh out of the academy.
Caitlin: So the 15 are going to have to go without a guard anyway.
Aragorn: Right.
Aragorn: Yeah.
Aragorn: I’m not gonna send 15 freshies just out to handle fucking who knows what.
Caitlin: We don’t know what it is though.
Aragorn: Exactly.
Aragorn: That’s my point.
Aragorn: I’m ahead to there with all 20.
Aragorn: I’m gonna tell them to just like keep an eye out for anything.
Aragorn: Suspecial.
DM: As you try to make your way, just keep in mind that it’s very difficult to get through.
Aragorn: Right.
DM: There is like I said, this place is really, really packed.
DM: And of course with the alarm bells ringing, everybody’s in panic. You know, you’re it’s taking you a while to get to that.
Aragorn: Yeah.
DM: felony.
DM: Dragon and flux, what would you guys be doing?
DM: Yes, so you guys would be probably around here.
Shain: Try it for.
DM: Yeah, these are alarm bells. People are panicking guards are wanting this best they can.
DM: A30pm, the sun has basically just set.
DM: So it’s night at this point.
Shain: …
Caitlin: Okay.
DM: Let me clarify real quick.
DM: Is the meetup spot the location where you guys are meeting the what’s it or did you guys
Caitlin: Yeah.
DM: specify a, okay.
DM: In that case, you are considerably far away because you’re here and then you’re here.
DM: So the meeting place is all the way up here.
Shain: The guard run I, right?
Caitlin: Water.
DM: I’m sorry to repeat that.
Shain: The guard runs by, correct?
DM: Guards are running. Yes.
Caitlin: Is there anyone?
Shain: OK.
DM: I’m assuming one second. What’s up, me?
Caitlin: Is there any immediate, and I’ll make the check, is there any immediately obvious, like
Caitlin: fires, invaders, like the sound of like weapons and blades being like active sounds of
Caitlin: battle, like large raging fires, anything to state that there’s something obvious going
Caitlin: on big?
DM: Nothing that you can see. There doesn’t seem to be any smoke in the sky.
DM: There’s no strange lights or anything.
DM: There’s no sounds of any obvious fighting.
DM: Of course, it would be a little hard to over here over the sound of the alarm bells and everybody freaking out.
Caitlin: True.
DM: But as far as you can tell, it seems to not be whatever this is.
Caitlin: I’m going to start making my way towards the meeting spot with the guy, and try to go as
DM: Sorry.
DM: It seems to not be like here.
Caitlin: like stick to cover.
Shain: Within advantage,
Caitlin: I’m not going to go at like I’m not going to go there.
Caitlin: I just want to get close and see if I run into any of the remaining party members on my
DM: Okay.
DM: What would you?
DM: Like I said, you guys are kind of over here and trade track four, which is kind of nearby where you guys are staying and you’re by the magic shop.
DM: So you guys are just be around this area.
Shain: Yeah, I got you.
DM: Your meeting location is all the way up here.
DM: So that’s across the city in panic.
DM: That’s that’s practically an eternity.
DM: And very similar thing, by the way, for you, Nate, you have it a little better because you guys, you’re kind of outside of the city walls.
Caitlin: side.
DM: So it’s less packed.
DM: But it is still a considerable distance to travel during panic and everything.
Caitlin: Yeah.
Caitlin: And say right now.
DM: That you 30.
Caitlin: So you’re going to be running from there.
Shain: I’m if I may, can I like temporal map one of the guards to see where we like I have a general
DM: Yeah.
Shain: location where he’s going as he’s running by and also I’ll hang on to like Aaron Dill’s shoulder
DM: Okay.
Shain: give me one second just keep me from you know passing on out on the ground and I’ll send like
Shain: a crow okay sure I’ll accept it the crow will go up and start just going towards where they’re going
Shain: I guess
DM: Okay. So you’re sending the crow along with the guards as well as placing your temporal thingy on him just to know kind of where he is.
Shain: yeah yes
DM: Gotcha.
DM: As you know, you kind of follow him.
Shain: you
DM: Of course, you might as somewhat slow, like I said, trying to get through the city with it being so packed is pretty difficult.
Shain: mm-hmm
Shain: yeah
DM: But he passes by you and he is heading to this guard post here.
Shain: mature
DM: It is bustling in an out from what you can tell.
DM: There is a very large increase of guards that have shown up.
DM: Not all of them are in a full proper uniform.
DM: So it’s very clear that these are either reserves or at minimum volunteers, not necessarily regular guards.
Shain: Do I hear, if I get the crow really close, do I hear any conversation between them?
DM: Yeah, yeah, absolutely.
Shain: Yeah, I mean, like the tower in terms of like the, in terms of the tower, are we talking
DM: How close would you be getting?
DM: Keep mind these alarm bells are going to be pretty loud, especially with you being right at a guard tower.
DM: So you have to get pretty close to here.
Shain: like looks like a prison tower? Okay, okay, okay. This is that ground level. This is that
DM: We’re talking like.
DM: It’s like tingles, cat tingles.
DM: It’s a big like cylinder essentially with a big bell on.
Shain: ground level right now where that you were the big place. Okay, then I would have it probably
DM: Yes.
Shain: like, I don’t see any problem. They’re probably not even focused on me. This is all the commotion.
Shain: I’ll have the crow just kind of sit down next to them, not like literally next to them,
DM: Yeah, there shouldn’t be a problem.
Shain: like it’s too close enough.
DM: As you kind of strain to over here, what’s happening?
DM: Apparently, these guards are kind of frantically talking to each other.
DM: It’s kind of difficult to decipher exactly what one guard is saying versus the other guards versus everything else.
Shain: Mhm.
DM: But you do make out one of them fairly saying the water he spotted something.
Shain: The watcher.
DM: It’s in the distance.
Shain: Any do.
DM: But that’s all you can really make out before he pulls somebody else and runs.
Shain: No direction.
DM: He actually is running in a direction. He’s running to the East gate.
Shain: Okay.
Shain: I’m gonna like, as I say this, I’m still in like the vision, so I’m still hanging onto
Shain: Arandel and I’ll say, seems like there’s something the watchers spotted something east of us.
Shain: I don’t know what it is, but it’s got the guards in a rally.
Shain: Maybe, I only think of forces maybe.
Shain: They’re not, were they fully armored or no?
Shain: Like, were they preparing for battle?
Shain: Oh no!
DM: They were definitely preparing for battle. Most notably, they weren’t drawing swords, but instead spears.
Shain: I-oh no, I think I connected it.
DM: Pretty much everybody was grabbing spears.
Shain: Butter, you were talking to me earlier.
Shain: You said, oh, and I mean, you were like, I mean a connection point about X, Y and Z that I didn’t realize.
DM: I didn’t say nothing. I didn’t say nothing.
Shain: Really, okay.
DM: I’ve literally never spoken in my life.
Shain: Alright, I’m not saying nothing.
Caitlin: Do I catch any of the same information from the guards or no, am I getting a different
Caitlin: spiel where I am in town?
DM: Well, because you’re kind of on the outside.
DM: So you’re only seeing people that are either completely fleeing for people.
Caitlin: Well I’m not trying to get from A to B. I’m cutting through.
DM: I get that.
Caitlin: Am I not?
DM: What I’m saying is from where you are up to here, you’re going to be on the outside of the wall.
Caitlin: Oh, okay, okay, I forgot to run the…
DM: You’re going to be kind of on the outside.
Caitlin: I’m going to go back to the meeting spot.
Shain: I’m just gonna say, I’m just gonna say, I’m just gonna say, I’m just gonna say, I’m just gonna say, I’m just gonna say, I’m just gonna say, I’m just gonna say, I’m just gonna say, I’m just gonna say, I’m just gonna say, I’m just gonna say, I’m just gonna say, I’m just gonna say, I’m just gonna say, I’m just gonna say, I’m just gonna say, I’m just gonna say, I’m just gonna say, I’m just gonna say, I’m just gonna say, I’m just gonna say, I’m just gonna say, I’m just gonna say, I’m just gonna say, I’m just gonna say, I’m just gonna say, I’m just gonna say, I’m just gonna say, I’m just gonna say, I’m just gonna say, I’m just gonna say, I’m just gonna say, I’m just gonna say, I’m just gonna say, I’m just gonna say, I’m just gonna say, I
DM: That being said, you do kind of get the sense that people are fleeing.
DM: Like they are just getting that they’re getting as far as they can away from the city as quickly as they.
DM: But there’s no words actually being uttered.
DM: People are just screaming and running.
DM: You could try to flag one down, try and stop them and ask questions if you wanted.
DM: But of course that would delay your arrival at your destination.
DM: There are some people also going towards the city people that are kind of they have the.
Shain: ā€˜m just gonna say, I’m just gonna say, I’m just gonna say, I’m just gonna say, I’m just gonna say, I’m just gonna say, I’m just gonna say, I’m just gonna say, I’m just gonna say, I’m just gonna say, I’m just gonna say, I’m just gonna say, I’m just gonna say, I’m just gonna say, I’m just gonna say, I’m just gonna say, I’m just gonna say, I’m just gonna say, I’m just gonna say, I’m just gonna say, I’m just gonna say, I’m just gonna say, I’m just gonna say, I’m just gonna say, I’m just gonna say, I’m just gonna say, I’m just gonna say, I’m just gonna say, I’m just gonna say, I’m just gonna say, I’m just gonna say, I’m just gonna say, I’m just gonna say, I’m just gonna say, I’m just gonna say, I’m just gonna say, I’m just gonna say,
Caitlin: I don’t want you to.
DM: Essentially a unbuttoned uniform. They just kind of thrown over their clothes.
DM: Like I said, probably reserve for retired or something like that.
DM: Yeah.
Caitlin: I see any guards, like normal dress cards.
Caitlin: I am.
DM: Like proper dressed up guards.
Caitlin: Yes.
Caitlin: Just.
DM: Like fully dressed arts now.
Caitlin: Just reserve.
DM: Yes, reserved as you’re running.
Caitlin: Okay, I’ll flag down. I will if I flag somebody down and they don’t respond, I’ll physically grab them and stop them.
DM: You do see there’s plenty along the walls and running on the walls, but not on the monitor.
Shain: I’m just gonna say I’m just gonna say, I’m just gonna say, I’m just gonna say, I’m just gonna say, I’m just gonna say, I’m a loser.
Caitlin: Like what are the reserve guards? Somebody who actually knows what the fuck’s going on? Or at least a few degree?
DM: Like just a regular civilian.
DM: Well, you’re going to have to like essentially physically stop them.
DM: You kind of try to stop one or two that you see and they they’re not giving you the time of day at all.
DM: They take a glance at you. They look for any type of insignia and they realize you are not another guard.
Caitlin: Okay, I mean like I said, I will physically stop one of them. I’m fucking grab the fuck her shoulders and like fucking manhandle them. I’m like literally if there’s a reserve guard, I’m just going to like grab them on the shoulders and spin the fuck around the face me at this point and just what the hell is going on here? Where’s everybody going?
Shain: Gonna try to break the
DM: You don’t know anything. They just run.
DM: Right past.
DM: So you’ll have to stop.
DM: I don’t know anything at the moment.
Caitlin: Alright, get on your way, dipshit. Alright, yeah, okay, I’ll run to a tower of them if there’s a nearest, I’m not crabbing his ass.
DM: It’s where I’m going to figure out the last time these alarm bells.
Shain: structure.
Shain: nope
DM: I would we have to go.
Shain: no
DM: You look like you can fight. Go to the nearest tower.
Shain: ukan
Caitlin: Sure, I’ll go nearer in your tower, I’ll start going to your sign on.
DM: And your terror.
Shain: Please tell me this is all.
Caitlin: Sure.
DM: So we’ll say that you kind of found some body about here. So you’re heading to this tower here.
DM: But yeah. So we’ll go back to.
Caitlin: Really quick, for really really quickly, do I have any way to communicate with the rest of the party? Do we have any like sending stones or anything like that? I can communicate with them.
Shain: Everyone.
Shain: Does he Andrew.
DM: Erdogan was here.
DM: So yeah, Erdogan probably be arriving at about now.
DM: Because like I said, where are these towers are normally there’s a gate.
DM: So he’s running against traffic.
Shain: I do have a thing.
DM: You do not have an orb of zoom because you’re new to the party.
Shain: But I am.
Caitlin: Okay. Well, I just mean I just mean any way to communicate sending, like I thought me and do I have sending stones at some point? I’m like, I’m just thinking of being there.
Shain: I have a way of understanding.
DM: And unfortunately because you’re on your own.
Caitlin: No, I’m like I’m just thinking of being there, but I want to communicate with the rest of the party because I want to figure out where everybody else is at.
DM: No, you are trapped.
DM: Dragon, you did give Caitlin a sending stone because you didn’t trust her enough with the orb of zoom.
DM: So instead you just gave me.
DM: I’m 96.3% positive.
Caitlin: That’s there’s no chance in hell this dumb ass motherfucker.
Shain: You can.
Shain: I was just like.
Caitlin: This dumb ass murder part, remind me to get around the next time I see him.
DM: Unfortunately, the sending stone does not seem to connect.
Shain: Sorry.
Shain: There are no.
Caitlin: Oh, yeah, let me grab the sending stone and try and communicate with you then, dragon. Is that what’s my plan?
Shain: You’re sending.
DM: Unfortunately, the sending stone you have dialed is out of service.
Shain: Is it connected to the right operator?
Aragorn: My ex’s phone number is on my phone time to break it.
Shain: Try again.
Caitlin: Can I send a message to dragon then if I have a sending stone? No, what do I get? Isn’t it like 30 words 15 words? What is it? 25?
Shain: I’m.
DM: No, I’m just going to get you.
DM: I’m pretty sure.
Shain: 25.
Caitlin: Just widespread panic. Where are you? Do you know what’s going on trying to find my way to a guy’s post now?
DM: Thank you.
Shain: Are going used.
Shain: East.
Caitlin: I’m not sure if soldiers have spears ring any bells in my head. I may have a history check anything that’s like, oh, that they would need spears as opposed to anything else.
DM: Well, you’re a paladin so you would know this and from.
DM: From everything that you would know.
DM: Generally, spears are only used against very large creatures.
DM: Things like gigantic bears, a torasque.
Shain: Oh.
DM: Any Lord anything flying anything along those lines that you know would not generally you want the slice,
DM: but you’re just trying to weaken slowly, which really isn’t enough.
Caitlin: I want to change course and go to the center of biggest guards tower or something in the center of the city and trying to meet up with the wagon and flux.
Shain: the
DM: That’s what you use a spear for.
DM: The fact that everybody’s grabbing spears implies that it’s not a invasion from another military or bandits as that would be a mix of spears swords.
DM: The fact that it is purely spears definitely applies some type of creature.
Caitlin: I’ll just head straight east then I’ll just head to east.
Shain: Yeah, I mean, I’m still scouting.
DM: Yes.
Shain: I’m still scouting, but I can use a dozing anyway, so.
DM: I’m 96% sure it is just you.
Caitlin: It’s just it’s just missed the step. It’s just a refliver musty step is exactly how it works.
DM: I’m more than willing to let you home brew it if you use two charges to teleport you and the creature of the same size.
Shain: Well, we were looking for the dragon, but we found the dragon under the teetode.
DM: You have a total of four uses so you can use it twice if you bring you in.
Shain: One position is expected.
Shain: So take a ееundo effect on the palm?
Shain: Aosana.
Caitlin: Thank you.
DM: That would definitely be things up.
Shain: The lord can level up the game with any characters
Shain: Well, I’m still I can walk like I just have a hand on you. You just have to guide me. You know blind people do this every day, right?
DM: You just jump across like okay, shame jump you turn around he’s just.
Shain: Oh, I can’t hear you dead.
Shain: Ah, he said.
Caitlin: It’s always just dead that that’s how shame goes like in collapses in a little of a street somewhere.
Shain: And well, you know, it’s terrible if I did the whole city would be gone.
DM: Just get’s trampled.
Shain: The whole the campaign would end right here. All of our characters.
Caitlin: Flex is sleeping I take the Rubik’s cube.
Shain: Oh my God.
DM: Okay, I back to plot.
Shain: Andrew.
Shain: It’s gotta be Andrew. Let Andrew do a thing.
DM: So Andrew.
Shain: Nice.
DM: I did.
DM: You arrive at the guard tower.
DM: Like I said, you were had to push through many people to get there because everybody’s fleeing out the gates.
DM: But you finally get there and there’s.
DM: Captain kill more.
DM: The man who showed up at your door is actually take has taken charge at the scar.
DM: He’s issuing demands and directions for everybody to go to whole nine yards.
DM: He’s not necessarily speaking necessarily.
DM: It’s more just like people are coming up get instructions and he’s immediately issuing.
DM: They’re orders.
Shain: You
DM: They’re going to be on the front line.
DM: Just to paint the picture.
Caitlin: I like Jack.
DM: There are people that are dedicated to literally going to the army just bring out pallets full of spears.
DM: I’m not going to be able to do that.
DM: But yeah, all right, so you just.
DM: You just grab it in your head and east.
DM: All right.
Shain: I will I will accept my bird. I accept my bridge.
DM: So it makes all of you that are heading east.
DM: Just to make sure are you going to do the going to the roof and running thing or now.
DM: Okay, where are doing that.
Shain: I can’t hear you but regardless. I was going to anyway. So all right. So did you catch what I was said?
DM: So,
Shain: Yeah, I was here.
Shain: I’ll look up and I’m like, how are we going to do that?
DM: it’s just.
Shain: Oh my God.
DM: Seiken, like a blessing of the shadow queen, the way that it’s like is described.
DM: And then you just imagine that you’re just like, let’s go.
DM: Everything fades to black for a second.
DM: You just appear on the roof.
Shain: What kind of transmit effect was that?
Shain: Wait. Oh, yeah, that’s right. You can do that.
Aragorn: That’s all you.
DM: All right.
Aragorn: All right.
Shain: Go on out the field.
DM: So we got.
Aragorn: Let’s see what we’ve got.
Shain: Well.
DM: We got.
Aragorn: Come on.
DM: At your again and flux heading to the east on top of roofs.
Shain: Yo.
Aerendyl: Class of woman struggling.
DM: Hey, Lin struggling to get east pushing through people on the outside of the walls.
Shain: Go.
DM: And we got.
Caitlin: Hey, hey, dragon.
DM: Error going.
DM: I presume running on top of the walls following the flow of traffic on top of the walls.
Aragorn: I’m like I’m like making certain like civilians clear through.
Caitlin: Dragon, please, cool love of God.
Aragorn: So we can like a straight shot and all that.
DM: Well, if you’re going on top of the walls, then it’s just other guards that are all running the same direction.
Aragorn: All that good stuff.
DM: Fantastic.
DM: Then that would be probably.
DM: Let’s see, because you’d be here.
DM: So, er, going.
DM: You would be the first to arrive.
DM: As you kind of get closer.
Aragorn: Oh.
DM: And you can kind of get the full sense of what’s happening.
DM: There are about.
DM: Right on top of this is that, and that they are going to.
Shain: Huh?
Aragorn: What I was meant to be controlling.
Shain: Real.
DM: Yp, 609 malls and that goes down to here on the east.
DM: So, it won’t hold strong investment.
DM: And so that’s because this is just not athe position, right.
DM: I mean, we have.
DM: A conveyor.
DM: It got blocked.
DM: We’ll go.
DM: But, so you want to search.
DM: you’re kind of a little too far away to properly see,
Aragorn: Um, they say go to.
DM: because the wall is packed.
Aragorn: They say go to the front lines.
Aragorn: I’m going to the front lines anyway to get off this wall and go to the front lines.
Shain: You
Caitlin: I’m warning.
DM: As you kind of like try to squeeze through people
DM: to get down to the stairs to go down
DM: and get to the front lines, eventually you can.
Caitlin: We got the way for it.
Aragorn: Right.
DM: And…
Aragorn: I don’t mind.
DM: Wait a second.
Aragorn: I’m like, wait, fuck ass, Gerald.
DM: What’s up, Latina?
Aragorn: It’s what you do.
DM: At the bottom of the stairs, there is,
DM: there is a man in full uniform that is standing
DM: and he’s kind of like,
DM: directed towards the come down the stairs.
DM: Judging by the amount of stars he has,
DM: out of this, whatever it’s called.
DM: You are pretty sure he’s a major.
DM: He kind of notices you and then sees the people behind him.
Aragorn: Oh.
DM: And he says, fun lines, eh?
DM: There’s no way you get to the actual front lines.
Aragorn: We’ll do.
DM: Just joining those people right there, follow them, form in line.
DM: As you kind of just follow.
Aragorn: Follow.
Aragorn: What?
DM: Essentially, you kind of follow and you’re deployed along this road here.
Shain: I’ll do the call.
DM: Just kind of in a straight line type thing.
DM: And as you finally stop, you hear gossip, essentially, of the soldiers around you.
DM: And what they think is happening.
DM: Most of them seem very uninformed.
DM: One of them actually believes that this is a drill.
DM: The poor fool.
Aragorn: Oh, look at the poor man.
Shain: It’s gotta be a drill.
DM: He is relatively near you. He’s like three people down.
Aragorn: Is he nearly, is he nearly, is he nearly?
Aragorn: Does he have any stars?
Aragorn: Is he any stars?
DM: It’s pretty difficult to see him. He’s in front of you.
DM: So you can’t really see the amount of.
DM: It’s nice he has.
DM: But he is in full uniform. So he’s not one of the reserve members.
Aragorn: Um, just because you think it’s a drill doesn’t mean you should be taking this anymore less seriously.
Shain: Oh.
DM: He kind of turns around and prepares to say something.
DM: But whatever he sees that you have two stars.
DM: And he has a puny one line.
DM: I he’s an insom. He says, ah.
Shain: Wow.
DM: Yes, sir. It turns right back around.
DM: But you know, you hear a lot of different theories.
DM: The main predominant one is that they believe that a army is invading from.
Shain: It’d be price for us again.
Shain: You’re going to.
DM: It seems unlikely to you, but it is the predominant theory.
DM: Dragon, at about this time, you would arrive to the guard post the east.
DM: Not necessarily the full guard post is minded up on the ball.
DM: But you will have a view.
DM: You’re at the wall essentially on top of the house.
DM: Now, technically, you could teleport up to the wall up to the guard post if you wanted to.
DM: It’s only about 30-ish feet up so you can easily teleport there with your friend.
DM: Yes, sir.
Shain: Oh, Lord.
DM: Yes, I do remember it.
DM: I remember it’s still a prototype.
Shain: I guess you brought the stone.
DM: You did.
DM: Mm-hmm.
Shain: What are you thinking Eric?
Shain: Five minutes.
Shain: Fine. I’ll give you five minutes too.
DM: So, as you try, it seems just a little bit too big to fit in the slot.
DM: But you, in your impatience, just kind of pushes a little harder.
DM: And the rock just immediately fixes itself and shrinks in size the fit right in the slot.
DM: It does do that.
Shain: Well, that’s good.
Shain: They fly now.
Shain: Wow. This crystal is really.
Shain: It’s really.
DM: You now have a theoretically functional prototype for your grappling.
Aerendyl: I’m not using it using it.
Aerendyl: I’m just curious to see if my idea worked.
Aerendyl: So I want to see if I can fire it to the wall.
DM: All right.
Aragorn: Want to see how yellow it is outside?
Shain: That’s a yellow.
Aragorn: Looks like fucking Mexico.
Aerendyl: I didn’t know you were a border crosser.
DM: As you attempt to shoot it, it does successfully shoot out.
Aragorn: No, I’m in breaking bad.
Shain: Red logo.
Aerendyl: You
DM: It’s not the full strength that you’re expecting or wanting as it just kind of hit a fleet pops out.
Aerendyl: Got you.
Aerendyl: Okay now you see that this is fun because it’s a prototype.
DM: Essentially, yes.
DM: It does exactly as you designed it.
Shain: Okay, congratulations. It looks like you’re working of what you want me to fly over with
Aerendyl: I can fix that but it doesn’t retract.
Aerendyl: Put it in that chip back in the bag.
Aerendyl: Okay Shane are you ready?
Shain: the freaking grappling hook that maybe or maybe it won’t work. Okay.
Aerendyl: No no.
Aerendyl: Give me a handshake.
Shain: Yeah. Okay, I’m not gonna lie, Aaron, your teleport is a lot different than the one I experienced.
Aerendyl: Tell the words.
Aerendyl: It’s not fun to do.
DM: I can imagine I’m so emphatically like a handshake.
DM: It just everything goes black.
DM: So, let me ask before you teleport, you could reach the very top of the wall.
DM: And you could find that even you are where that usually this type of place a guard tower, you’re not really just supposed to be there as a civilian.
Shain: Oh, oh hi. We’re up really high aren’t we?
DM: Alternatively, you could try to teleport into a room.
Aerendyl: Yeah.
DM: There are some like definitely like rooms along the walls, especially at the scar tower that have windows cut out that you can see into.
DM: This would be approximately approximately like 40 feet off the ground total.
Shain: Okay, okay, don’t hurt.
DM: Are those rooms?
Aerendyl: So is this like a tack on Titan style where there’s like the big wall,
Shain: It was you who stepped on the line, it was you who hit that line.
Shain: 這個ę˜ÆčŖ°?
Aerendyl: guard post and then like the house is underneath.
DM: Essentially, yes.
Aerendyl: And where are the guards going to?
Shain: I’m trying to figure it out and throw it, but I can’t hold
DM: All of the guards are going directly to where you have gone. So to the eastmost gate.
Aerendyl: Just to that wall?
Aerendyl: Okay.
DM: Well, to be clear, it’s actually, so it’s this one right here.
Shain: it.
Aerendyl: So and they’re they’re like getting onto the wall.
DM: This is where everybody’s going to and that this building right here is where you are.
Shain: it
Aerendyl: So we’re here and.
DM: So you can teleport up to the wall or you could try to teleport into the into the guard tower.
Shain: in
Aerendyl: Um.
DM: Because the guard towers are literally towers that go up higher than the normal wall.
Aerendyl: Shane do you have any form of transportation via flying?
Shain: always
Caitlin: What?
Aerendyl: Oh so you can teleport.
DM: Turns it up a terrible.
Aerendyl: Oh I forgot you do that.
Shain: teleport yes and also if I really need to yeah yeah yeah I don’t plan to
Aragorn: I would highly advise not changing into a teradactyl as there’s front lines of guards.
Aerendyl: I was going to say I could go up top.
Aerendyl: Can I get to the roof of the guard tower?
Shain: yeah
DM: Yeah, you probably the very roof would be difficult.
Shain: can I throw him up can I can I do like a little like I’ll just cut my hand
Aerendyl: Can I jump and teleport to getting range?
DM: If you jump, you’d be in range to grab the top to pull yourself up.
Aerendyl: I’m trying to be right.
Shain: together oh cut my hands together like low I’m like I’m not that strong but just
Shain: yep one of those and just up make like a strength
DM: Let’s go.
Shain: action like like a
Aerendyl: I was going to say I could get up there, get some advantage and then like you can stay in the back and decide where you want to go whenever something happens.
DM: Thanks for watching.
Aerendyl: So that we don’t both get maybe caught by guards.
Shain: let me know yeah well at this point they’re probably less concerned about us and more
Shain: with the commotion so yeah no here I cut my hands all right listen I’m weak fragile way
Aerendyl: I’m going to I want to get it there.
Aerendyl: Very to be the top.
Shain: about 120 pounds and about 20 I don’t remember the last birthday because it’s been like 13
Shain: freaking years anyways you know it’s gonna be harder for you to get up there and I rather
Aerendyl: I mean you want me to lose some pounds.
DM: All right, I’m going to need a acrobatic check from you dragon and a shrink check from you.
Aerendyl: I can just.
Shain: you be both hands all right three two one
Aerendyl: That’s true.
Aerendyl: I jump and I missed it.
Aerendyl: I fucking use the Raven Queen teleport.
Aerendyl: I myself.
DM: I’m going to give you a few blocks.
Shain: who good news 16 baby
Aerendyl: You said athletics.
DM: Pretty please.
Aerendyl: That my friend is a 23 base but I can make it a 28 for extra pizzazz.
Shain: oh yeah
DM: Yes.
DM: Okay, it’s up to you.
Aerendyl: 28.
Aerendyl: Yeah no, never comment.
DM: Let’s just throw away all of our.
DM: Okay, 23.
Aerendyl: 23.
Aerendyl: I shouldn’t fail the 23.
Shain: Hey, by the way, if you would like, I’m gonna call this up if you like you could put a hand out my fill to reach you
DM: No, no, you definitely succeed as you kind of launched and you teleport right on you.
DM: And you’re basically dangling from the top of this guard tower as you pull yourself up.
Aerendyl: I’m going to turn around and just give Shayna.
DM: Now for the record.
Aerendyl: I don’t think that’s going to work.
Shain: I have 30 feet bonus my freebie bonus action missed step a day haven’t yet
Aerendyl: I’m going to turn around and just.
Shain: Just saying do you need do you need me up there do you need me up here okay
DM: Okay, for the record, this is this is a what a relatively regular like sheeling.
DM: Whatever, where it kind of like goes up to a point, there is a window that is built into this.
Shain: you
DM: So like there is a room up there.
Shain: Yeah
DM: As you kind of pull yourself up, there is no light in that room.
DM: But as you kind of crawl in completely, your ears kind of start to ring as this is where the bells are.
Shain: just walking
DM: However, nobody is actually swinging them or actually at the location.
DM: It’s a long rope system that goes all the way down and somebody’s pulling on the ropes.
Aerendyl: And I climb up top onto the actual roof of where the bell tower is.
DM: You totally can.
Aerendyl: I don’t know if there is.
Aerendyl: Is there a roof?
DM: Like there’s not like a flat roof, but you can climb all the way up to kind of like where the point is.
Aerendyl: I want to climb up there.
Aerendyl: Looks like that.
Aerendyl: Yeah, I want to get up there.
Shain: that
Aerendyl: Make sure my hood is on.
Aerendyl: And I want to check the surroundings of where these guards might be preparing.
Aerendyl: Now I’m more like ninja batman.
DM: As you crawl all the way up to the top and you kind of look down, you see basically the same type of thing.
Shain: And over to the left, you see a single white woman and covered our
DM: So you’re right here at this guard tower and you see all within this area here are just, you know, guards in different positions, information, all with spears towards the front.
Aerendyl: problem.
DM: There are a lot of the guys appear to be kind of kneeling on the ground, but you’re not sure if that’s a formation or if they’re doing that for grass to deserve instead.
Aerendyl: Hmm.
Aerendyl: My
Shain: camera pushing through a crowd of children. Yeah, I knew.
DM: You do see that exactly pushing down this road here.
Aerendyl: I knew she was a bitch, but not like that.
DM: Just kind of making their way you recognize this individual to be Caitlin as she kind of body slams a child turns around and apologizes and continues running.
Shain: Right, Um, zip up.
Shain: Yeah, yeah, your
Shain: microphone here but I don’t care if I we like watching it,
Shain: I tune it also and I…!
Shain: Ba-ba-ba style trademark!ā€
DM: But yeah, as you kind of like look back at the city, the city is basically complete disarray the amount of people that are fleeing and pushing through.
Shain: My alph점 Sherri San Leķ…Œ
Shain: you
DM: At the current rate, if you were to estimate, you’re looking at probably a good hour to two before driving in begins to slow down just because there’s so many factors in most shops that we’ve been converted to small little places with rest.
Aerendyl: Do I see the reason why the guards have assembled?
DM: So they’re just rushing out into the streets trying to make their way and it’s just it’s a very slow process.
DM: Not as far as you can tell, but as you are, you know, continuing to just kind of look out, you do finally here and your ears are finally happy the bells stop.
DM: Not necessarily because the thread is over, but because there was no point continuing the bells to be ringing as the guards are definitely still information and still moving to.
Aerendyl: I’m just going to stay perched up here and I’m just going to message to Flux saying like, I’m all good.
Shain: won’t have consultations tomorrow it’s
DM: Just to be completely clear, the kind of area that you can climb into in the actual tower, there are there’s a ladder down so if you wanted to try to get down there to try and collect information that isn’t.
Shain: crucial to mark the time.
Aerendyl: I’m going to do some reconnaissance up here.
DM: But it’s just kind of whatever you want.
Aerendyl: I’m just going to cast invisibility and then go down the ladder.
Shain: Well, what did I get to do?
DM: As you kind of go down, you find yourself kind of smack dab in what is essentially a makeshift kind of war room as there are really what appeared to be high level people in the military kind of around a long table.
Aerendyl: I’m just going to perch up and just be like, I will listen to these guys.
Shain: Well, oh no.
Shain: Oh no.
DM: They’re all relatively old.
Aerendyl: Hot.
DM: One man he is one of the younger ones, he is here as it completely great out yet.
DM: So he has kind of a dark brown hair that’s begun to white.
Aerendyl: Damn.
Shain: You
DM: He’s kind of clean shaven so no beard or anything, but he is as the watch reports are confirmed.
DM: It’s back.
DM: We’ve already tried to be on to evacuate, but what can I be anywhere near done?
Aerendyl: It’s the fucking dragon. It’s the fucking dragon, isn’t it? Please be the dragon.
DM: He’s a far older man at the end of the table.
DM: He’s fully wider like he’s actually begun to like receding hairline, but he it’s very clearly that he tried to like make up for it with his hairstyle.
DM: He failed. It’s so obvious, but nobody wants the.
Aerendyl: So he’s the opposite of the Butler from Overlord.
DM: Exactly, exactly.
DM: He’s visibly upset as he slams on the desk and anger.
DM: Just pure confusion in his voice. Why is he back?
Aerendyl: Cheat.
DM: He’s not here anymore. We don’t even have our defender.
DM: He’s kind of other people around, kind of say basically the same type of stuff that they don’t think that they could win and that all they can hope for is the by time.
Aerendyl: Plus ease.
DM: Could you be the dragon?
DM: If it is a dragon that you presume it is.
Aerendyl: Hey dragon, mystical creature. Look at this.
DM: As you continue to listen, the the the younger one kind of speaks again.
DM: According to estimates, it’ll be here within 10 minutes.
DM: Don’t stand a chance.
Shain: The dragon
Aerendyl: What will be here?
DM: Are you going to say, are you going to try to be like, what are we are?
DM: Are you actually trying that?
DM: Yes.
DM: I think I go, how strail is she?
DM: Who said that?
DM: I think she just kind of looks around at all.
Aerendyl: Wait.
DM: None of them like admit to saying it, but it’s very clear if they don’t have time to waste to try and figure out who said it.
DM: It kind of like this a lot.
DM: So they just kind of continue, you know, discussing.
DM: Pigeon Strallo, by the way, you would know that name.
Aerendyl: I would know that name.
DM: Yes, you would as every nation in the world wouldn’t know of one of the last four great dragons.
DM: It was responsible for the fall of gondor.
DM: And apparently it’s back.
Aerendyl: Okay, so I’m going to climb with the ladder.
DM: Yeah.
Shain: I’m just sitting on the roof and I wonder what’s going on.
Aerendyl: There seems to be a great dragon on its way.
Shain: My eyes bug out and I sit down.
Shain: And I, can I holler up?
Shain: Is this that dragon that people were talking about?
Aerendyl: I’m inside the thing. Do I see his lips moving with the same words?
Shain: The story with the guy who was like, I’m gonna kill you.
Shain: Is this not what you’re wanting?
DM: You can make out this.
Shain: Is this lĆŖn for me and his past.
DM: Back.
DM: But you kind of just try and read the lips and you’re like really confused about a femur.
Shain: Reveal for jetķ•“ģš”.
Shain: Is this that ė˜ėŠ”lying with me?
Aerendyl: I’m going to go down the ladder.
Shain: Is this that happening to you?
DM: Excuse me.
Shain: I like him. Elf it drag on.
DM: Before we continue this stupidity, are you telling me Shane doesn’t have message?
Shain: No, because I haven’t thought anything
Shain: Sounds like me, unafraid если you don’t ever get at it.
DM: The orb of zoom or something stone?
Shain: It’s uhh balls.
Shain: They cry, they shout.
Aerendyl: I’m going to do a sending stone to Flux saying that.
Shain: But there’s nothing good here.
DM: We’re not telling Andrew.
Shain: Tell me something.
Shain: You better find out real soon.
DM: Yes, yes you do.
Shain: Soldiers!
Shain: Wow.
Aerendyl: And then do I have line of sight with Caitlin still trying to fucking archaic.
DM: So you’re going to look like an crazy person to get people to get out your way, type thing.
Aerendyl: I will.
DM: Gotcha, gotcha.
Aerendyl: I’m going to go back down the ladder.
DM: So you just turn and all you see is a crazy person clad in white with a flaming sword just running through people swinging it back and forth.
Aragorn: We’re not speaking terms.
DM: Are you are you listening back in on the war plans?
Aerendyl: Yeah, yeah, I’m going to come.
DM: I was like it to you to just discuss things.
DM: By the way, anybody if you are if you want to do something feel free to interrupt me and tell me what’s what.
Shain: What?
DM: Oh.
Shain: Ah in the middle.
Aerendyl: It’s my bag of holding.
DM: The fact that you think that matters is funny.
DM: Is there a specific reason?
DM: Yeah, and you think that you’re just bored of presence just magically.
Shain: kilobits.
DM: No.
Aerendyl: Bow down before me.
DM: If you talk to them, yes.
DM: Just appearing in their presence.
DM: I was like, I’m not.
DM: Exactly, exactly.
DM: Anyways, so dragon has like kind of continued talking.
Shain: Mmm.
DM: The general plan from what you can tell is that the dragon is.
DM: From what their records indicate me dragon is drawn to shiny objects and crowds of people.
DM: So their attempt was to get a large group of soldiers out to the east with shiny spears and group them up together hoping to get the dragon’s attention.
Shain: Shane has gone.
Aerendyl: I’m climbing up the ladder.
Shain: Oh, okay.
DM: Keep in mind the orb of zoom is very it speaks on speaker phone.
DM: So whenever you just haven’t just chilling out in your pocket or whatever suddenly your pocket just start speaking ever going.
Aerendyl: I’m going to.
DM: Please tell me you don’t have a spear.
Shain: Everyone looks around.
DM: For the record.
Aerendyl: I’m going to whisper into the world.
Shain: Oh.
DM: We will see beyond the
Aerendyl: I’m going to go back down the ladder.
DM: them being used as fodder as around you people are dropping their spears and
DM: fleeing. Yes you do. It’s literally it goes like this you go because there’s like a
Aerendyl: I’m just.
DM: dragon coming.
DM: It does by the way, Valiant Attent Dragon nobody’s listening about seeing the dragon.
DM: Unfortunately you can’t see. You wouldn’t know this. So Caitlin would not know this but
DM: Error Gorn and Dragon do. This dragon is known for being completely black unless it is
Shain: Huge.
DM: breathing fire. You literally cannot see it and it is famous for only moving at night. Yes.
Aragorn: That fuckers invisible.
Aerendyl: I have a question.
Aragorn: Orbs and you gave Caitlin a sending some.
Aerendyl: Did I ever give Andrew a sending stone as well?
Aragorn: It was Caitlin or a resume gave me.
DM: Fantastic. So what are you going to do Error Gorn? Now that you’re in the middle of essentially a panic of soldiers.
Aragorn: So butter.
Shain: Really the troops.
Aragorn: Uh huh.
DM: Are you going to pull up my soldier’s scrimmout type situation where we also flaying.
Aragorn: How many are in the front right now?
DM: Well like I said you’re kind of deployed along this road here. So there are people that are all the way down here as far as you can tell.
DM: The only people that are actually like disturbed are right around here and they’re just trying to push through and get away because they were within ear shut up.
Aragorn: Okay.
DM: However, dragon you can see this and you would kind of be able to see this a little bit. Everyone as kind of people don’t really believe the other people that are freaking out about a dragon and being far away.
DM: So it’s kind of like a just basically the one group around you and basically perfect circle are freaking out and trying to get away and everybody else is just like.
Aragorn: Right.
DM: Now your guard suck it up buttercup grab your spears.
DM: You’re kind of on the street so yeah there there’d be like stuff around specifically like.
Aragorn: I’m a I’m a standup on like a is there like any box or anything that gets me height?
DM: So off kind of to the to the left a little bit there’s a band in part.
DM: Just kind of sitting on the ground you could definitely like try and stand on that. There’s a hay bill on one end so it’s kind of going to be dropped up.
DM: Fantastic fantastic world performance with advantage please.
Aragorn: I’m be like listen.
Aragorn: Like pay attention.
Aragorn: Pick up your damn fucking spears.
Aragorn: Get back in fucking line.
Aragorn: You chose this work.
Aragorn: You’re gonna finish it.
Aragorn: Till death do you fucking part.
Aragorn: Woohoo.
DM: Hmm.
Aragorn: Cause I’m like that bitch.
Shain: That the word of it being Christ, the Lars and Shane, loving dragons.
Aragorn: You said performance.
DM: Say that again.
Shain: Shane, hearing that as Christ, the Lars, after knowing it’s a dragon, wants to go speak with him.
DM: All right.
Shain: So he’s going to the front lines.
Aragorn: Hey guy.
DM: Off to the front lines you go.
Aragorn: Bro that I wrote I wrote this.
DM: You’re getting, you’re going through pretty quick.
DM: So you were kind of originally over here.
DM: I should have clarified.
DM: Are you going to guard poster or are you going to wear the soldiers?
DM: In that case, you would be approaching at right about now.
DM: Yeah, like kind of your eat.
Aragorn: I wrote the 16.
DM: You were pushing through here.
DM: So basically after.
DM: After this line here, there’s no more people in it.
DM: You’re going to be in the middle of the line.
DM: So you’re, you are like right.
DM: Right here.
DM: So you’re like almost there.
DM: What.
Aragorn: I’m I wrote the 16.
DM: With a 16.
DM: You get a lot of, you know, who looks.
DM: Most of them want to say something.
DM: But we’re most of them are cadets.
DM: And do not have the authority to speak to you.
DM: And I think other than a yes or.
DM: As such, they all kind of.
DM: Sadly pick up their, their, their.
DM: Spears and just kind of shakeily hold them as they wait there and pending.
Aragorn: I’m like I’m like I’m like I’m like I’m like I’m like I’m like talking groups like do this for your family.
DM: Are you going for like a motivational speech?
Aragorn: For your children or for your friends.
Aragorn: This is for you.
DM: Or is the soldier scream out type situation?
Aragorn: It’s all germs.
DM: Is this a secondary speech or is this the same one as the first one?
Aragorn: No, this is just me like kind of going through the groups like like the fucking we need for like attention.
DM: Okay, all right.
DM: And then as you’re kind of giving out this thing, this speech.
DM: And then you’re going to be in the.
DM: As you are making it closer and closer.
DM: Eventually, you hear the voice of air and now being carried through the crowd.
DM: Just some wonderful words of wisdom.
DM: A couple idiotic sentences here and there.
DM: But you know, he’s really get, he’s really driving the point home.
DM: As you kind of make your way through the soldiers.
DM: Essentially, why the crap is there a person who’s not a guard here?
DM: Oh, wait, I don’t care.
DM: As you make your way here.
DM: Yes, sir.
Aragorn: I’m a fully ditched the spear at this point.
DM: Okay, all right.
Aragorn: I’m a I’m just like toss it to another guy.
Aragorn: I guess it doesn’t have one.
Aragorn: I’m pulling out.
Aragorn: I’m pulling out my fucking great sword.
Aragorn: My my silver white great sword extra extra shiny.
DM: Oh, yes, sir.
DM: Yes, you are as well to say you basically are right.
DM: Just about at the same time that he goes, look, am I men?
DM: I will fight.
DM: Oh,
DM: I don’t know.
DM: The soldiers begin to march forwards into the grasslands with a new found vigor prepared to lay down their lives.
DM: It is pretty dark.
Aragorn: Okay.
DM: There are a decent number of soldiers that have torches essentially.
DM: They are just like, and it’s easy to stick with the group.
DM: But seeing anywhere outside of where the soldiers are is pretty difficult.
DM: There is a little bit of light so you can kind of see things at this point.
DM: Yes, sir.
Aragorn: This motherfucker silent dude.
DM: I think that’s the point.
DM: Yes, and we’ll get to that when we get to that.
DM: You would certainly have ideas.
Aragorn: Is it so butter so butter if it’s at night right would I recognize what this is hearing the word dragon.
DM: Previously, whatever the dragon attacked, you were safe at home.
DM: You weren’t really aware of most of what was happening other than that something was happening.
DM: And eventually, all everything that happened was you were screamed outside, soft spoke.
DM: Eventually, you heard loud stomping outside.
DM: And your house kind of caught on fire.
DM: Your mother gave you the box and told you to run.
Aragorn: Then I’m sheathing I’m sheathing the great sword.
Aragorn: I’m pulling out my fucking heritage sword.
Aragorn: I’m ripping that bitch out using that sucker.
DM: Yes, Nathaniel.
DM: Yeah, that would be perception.
DM: Yes, sir.
Aragorn: Pfft.
DM: I knew you were going to ask that.
DM: No, you do not.
DM: Anyways, Nathaniel has your kind of nearing the actual front lines of the front lines.
DM: Being about, you guys kind of made it all the way down into the grasslands at this point.
DM: You can hear often the distance just.
DM: It’s like.
DM: Give me five seconds and I can come up with a good descriptor.
DM: But essentially just a.
DM: A couple seconds later.
DM: That’s the kind of thing as.
DM: As like air being moved in mass quantities.
DM: Now, your.
DM: Your logic would tell you that for the sound as you’re hearing it, it should be off in the distance.
DM: Not necessarily like super close.
DM: Like you’re not feeling the air.
DM: It’s not like you’re in a space.
DM: So if you were to guesstimate your, your thinking maybe 500 feet.
DM: You know, maybe more.
DM: It’s really hard to tell, but because it’s not, it’s not loud at this.
DM: It’s just enough that you can pick it up.
DM: But you can definitely hear something in the distance, but you’re pretty sure it’s not walking.
DM: It’s definitely air distance.
DM: At this point, we’ll cut back to the dragon and what did flux you since you now.
Aerendyl: He was sending me a message about the dragon and stuff.
Aerendyl: He was eating.
DM: What to do with the other hand.
DM: Essentially, a lot of back and forth of battle strategy plans for what to do.
DM: How much time they think they could actually walk back.
DM: Before a man kind of barges into the room.
DM: His eyes, they look kind of glossy.
DM: They have a kind of blue shine to them.
DM: So they’ve been enchanted.
DM: He’s got completely brown hair, but it’s relatively short.
DM: It’s got a bit of a bit of a mustache there and to go T.
DM: As he kind of runs in, he says,
DM: initial projections were off.
DM: He’s going to be in two minutes.
DM: There’s nothing we can do.
DM: We’ve not even begun to properly evacuate the main city.
DM: Even the people on the far out.
DM: Good.
DM: So Bayley’s gotten away.
DM: The kind of older gentleman, the guy that’s running, running the whole thing.
DM: He issues kind of an emergency order to turn that to put out all fires, turn out all lights throughout the entire city.
DM: But the only bits that are left are the soldiers in the front.
Aerendyl: No.
DM: According to what they are aware of, you have not been told any of that.
Aerendyl: You don’t know that that.
Aragorn: On fire.
Aragorn: Okay.
Aerendyl: There’s no wall for the whole city.
DM: There’s a wall, but because a lot of the houses are outside the wall and they’re all falling into the instructions,
DM: you kind of pick it up pretty quickly.
Aerendyl: Oh yeah.
DM: As you kind of look back, you can see that the individual lights and fires are going out kind of one at a time.
DM: But definitely, it’s very clear that the fires are going out.
DM: The body is putting them all out.
DM: Now, if I may ask, how much would you have actually looked into the fall of gondorf?
Aerendyl: You’re going to go back down the ladder.
DM: Would you have tried to ignore it, like shove it as a bad memory, or would you have looked into it seeking revenge and looking it to all the details that you can?
Aragorn: Oh.
DM: Gotcha, and that’s not just metagaming because you want details.
DM: Well, I will say that as to everybody that you had asked, there were no confirmed sides of those dragons.
Aragorn: No. No. Yeah. I’m a curious motherfucker when I came to this.
DM: Some people had said that the dragon was gigantic, easily a hundred feet long, while others had said that it was a smaller dragon that just packed a punch.
Aragorn: Right.
DM: You’re not entirely sure what the truth of the matter is, but you do know this is a very confirmed report and you kind of witnessed it, basically firsthand.
DM: His fire is more like lava as far as you know, as it doesn’t just go away, it spews out in kind of a gooey form.
DM: But you do also know that it is usually completely black.
DM: But whenever it begins to attack, it kind of begins to glow red as kind of streaks that go all the way up to its core.
Aerendyl: I’m going to go back down the ladder.
DM: So you should have some semblance of a warning before it attacks, if not very much, but at least a little bit.
DM: Yes.
Aerendyl: I have a serious question.
Aerendyl: If I’m not mistaken, I made those pocket nukes without the stones in them.
DM: Well, you’re not really sure of the size of the dragon.
Aerendyl: If worse comes to worse.
Aerendyl: I’m not mistaken.
Aerendyl: How big were those craters compared to where the dragon could possibly weigh?
DM: As you are, you also kind of as the son of the military leader, the last row, you have unconfirmed reports of the different size dragon.
DM: You would probably assume that it’s kind of mid sized, so maybe about 60 feet long give or take for a great dragon.
DM: So you’re not, like I said, you’re not really sure, but you do have enough for a dragon that’s hot probably to hit it twice in a long state.
DM: Well, the soldiers have marched away, so they’re like down here in the grasslands at this point.
Aerendyl: Let’s say the dragon landed.
DM: Well, do just do to the amount that you have like great because you only prepared a little bit in the sense of like you were wanting to test it out.
DM: And you just have a chance.
DM: You’d be able to create a relatively big one, maybe from here to here.
DM: Maybe give or take 80 feet diameter, but you’re not possible.
DM: Even if you tried to do like the whole thing, you, if you put it all into one thing, the most you probably get is about there is your diameter.
DM: Keep in mind, it’s not three feet. It’s just the rest of us.
Aerendyl: I have something that will at least do damage if I need it to.
DM: That you do.
Aerendyl: That’s all I wanted to confirm.
DM: Yes, thank you.
DM: Thank you.
Aragorn: Oh, I’m fully aware.
Aragorn: Yep.
Aragorn: Okay.
Aerendyl: Oh.
DM: Okay. Now, I’m going to have to read up on daylight because I do not remember the wording of the spell or exactly what it does.
DM: That’s 60 foot radius. Okay.
DM: Well, you definitely, how long is it last Holy crap?
DM: You, my friend.
DM: You and my friend begin to radiate with light.
DM: You.
DM: As this kind of who she gets louder and louder, you can kind of make out a, an outline and in the distance.
DM: It’s really hard to get an exact like completely, you see it clearly, but because the dragon is completely black and there’s a little bit of moonlight.
DM: You can kind of make an outline and it’s.
DM: It’s really large.
DM: Kind of.
Aerendyl: I have not seen it yet.
DM: Yeah, he’s inside. Flux. What did you say you were doing again?
Aerendyl: He said he was going to be right back.
DM: I thought he said he was going to the front lines. Okay, I just wanted to make sure. Okay.
Aerendyl: I’m not mistaken.
DM: So he’s making his way to the front lines. Would you want to do?
DM: All right. All right. So we’re doing months to a flame strategy.
Aragorn: So as I see Nate doing this, I’m grabbing a couple of torches and I’m making bigger fires.
DM: Dragon, as you are, as you’re listening in on the these strategy, strategic talks.
Aragorn: Oh, her two and moss to a fucking flame.
DM: One of them kind of looks out the window and says.
DM: We have a noble sacrifice.
DM: It kind of looks out you kind of moves to see out the window. You see a right light.
DM: Oh, yeah.
DM: So, but yeah.
DM: Yeah, you know, you kind of points out and you know, acknowledge is a noble sacrifice.
Aragorn: Talking to his parents.
DM: Yeah, I know. That’s why I’m pausing.
Aragorn: I’m going to see the heritage or not because I was like for show.
Aragorn: I’m going to pull out the white silver sword because it’s shinier and it glistens.
DM: Yeah, you’ll.
Aragorn: I’m going to pull out the white silver sword.
DM: Okay, back.
Aerendyl: Sorry.
DM: You’re kind of like looking out the window to try and listen.
DM: You also begin to hear the sound of booshing as you are hit with a sense of PTSD from your time down as a cave.
Aerendyl: I said just say that.
DM: Yeah.
DM: The younger one cash.
DM: I have to agree with that. Who said that?
Aragorn: Oh, my God.
DM: He just turns it uses not like it’ll mad and 23 seconds. But who are you?
DM: So can all majors fire does nothing to this dragon.
Aragorn: Go on.
DM: Like, not that they’re unimpressed, but that they don’t think it will matter.
Aerendyl: Do you have any other plan to do instead of just like fucking stay here and die or rather die and try and kill the fucking dragon?
DM: It’s important to get away with 300 players.
Aerendyl: No. I just, I’ve encountered something similar to this one before and it’s fucking terrifying.
Aerendyl: But at the same time, I’m also curious to see if my bombs work.
DM: The rooms have rights.
DM: I don’t know if that’s what it means to us here.
DM: about 600 years ago.
Aerendyl: And that’s make history or die trying.
Aerendyl: You’re going to die anyways.
DM: He just kind of yells out,
DM: and he says,
DM: Jack, get in here.
DM: As the same kind of man with the boss,
DM: yeah, it’s kind of like that.
DM: The…
Aerendyl: You guys can daylight.
DM: Yup.
DM: Um, but he kind of has Derek come in,
DM: and Derek just immediately takes a glance at you,
Aerendyl: Sorry.
DM: and he kind of goes,
DM: he’s eyebrows raised for a second,
DM: and then they just go back down.
DM: As he looks back and says,
DM: he’s strong.
DM: He’s not…
DM: Oh, sorry.
Aerendyl: I’m not here to replace anybody.
DM: He has…
DM: He’s strong, but he’s not a good replacement.
Aerendyl: I’m just here to do my pocket bombs on this fucking dragon.
DM: And they’ll just kind of…
DM: Essentially, they show you away.
DM: They’re very dismissive.
DM: They’ve already…
DM: They’ve already talked in the fact that they’re probably gonna die.
Aerendyl: Okay.
DM: So their plan right now is not trying to kill the dragon.
DM: It’s the by-time for people to stay.
DM: However, you have lost your chance
DM: to try to…
DM: to try to persuade them.
DM: As you see…
DM: Yes, you get to the front lines,
DM: you kind of ran towards the light as you do,
DM: and have approached…
Shain: Oh.
DM: Err-no, not there, no.
DM: Err-goorn, and…
DM: Oh, you three are together.
DM: But so you all kind of see this,
DM: dragon, you’re seeing this out the window
DM: from the safety of the watch tower.
DM: As a bit in the distance,
DM: you ever take a hundred-ish feet off the ground?
DM: A gigantic creature,
DM: easily a wingspan of 150 feet.
DM: There’s just lines of red that begin to trace through the sky,
DM: up to one point.
DM: As the creature kind of…
DM: gives out the screech,
DM: almost a pre-warning to its attack.
DM: But instead of doing what you all hoped,
DM: and going after the shiny, pretty lights,
DM: it turns at the last minute,
DM: going right for the city.
DM: As…
DM: Yes?
DM: Not in the slightest.
DM: Like, it turns,
DM: but he’s still like a hundred feet off.
Aerendyl: Why?
DM: Like, he’s not…
DM: Yes, why?
Shain: He’s a hundred feet up, you say?
Shain: Oh, no, no, no, no, no, no.
DM: Is that a dragon?
Shain: Oh, most likely he won’t hit the city and I’ll use call lightning.
Shain: To target the thing and I’m going to upcast it at fourth level.
Aerendyl: Lightning bolt.
DM: Ugh.
Aerendyl: Um, guess how about we try to train his dragon?
DM: Oh gosh.
Aerendyl: Call me Hickaboo.
DM: Huh.
Aerendyl: I lost my leg.
DM: ļæ½
DM: There is not a thunderstorm.
DM: It’s actually a pretty clear night.
DM: Like I said, there’s moonlight.
DM: Like you can see pretty well.
DM: Bro.
DM: The dragon needs to make a deck saving throw.
DM: Alright.
DM: Give me 12 seconds.
Aerendyl: Unlimited power.
DM: Alright. So we got to click here.
DM: Gotta make sure that this is like this because it’s heavy.
DM: Problematic if it eight.
DM: Alright. You said decks.
Shain: Cast spell.
Aerendyl: Next.
DM: That’s going to be a.
DM: That’s going to be a 27.
Aerendyl: Overry barbed.
DM: Oh, well.
Aerendyl: Hey, butter.
Aerendyl: I will personally kill you myself and just run up the stairs.
Aerendyl: Shh.
DM: 24.
DM: 27 points of damage.
DM: Okay. Okay.
Aerendyl: Except he’s waiting.
DM: As the lightning bolt kind of strikes the dragon, it kind of jolts away from the lightning.
DM: Very clearly it had some of that maybe not much.
DM: Maybe just wasn’t expecting to be hit, but it did kind of jolt away.
DM: As the you guys are kind of stationed around here.
DM: The dragon essentially came in from this direction and then turned it as well.
DM: As it kind of turns back to the left heading right towards the center.
DM: The red lines begin to coalesce right at its mouth as it spews fire down on the city.
DM: So just to make sure I understand because this is a bit out of order.
DM: At this point, erotic one and Caitlin will be mounting horses attempting to get back as soon as possible.
DM: Soldiers have also been given orders by you to get back to this city.
DM: Shane, what about you? What are you doing?
Shain: I could do it.
DM: No, ride the dragon.
Aerendyl: Turn to a tarot dackel and write it.
DM: We call him a dragon.
Shain: No, no, no, I was thinking I would be riding myself.
Aerendyl: Don’t fuck.
Shain: Oh, I see.
Aerendyl: How to train your dragon?
Shain: You know what I’m actually thinking about.
Shain: That’s a great idea.
DM: No, it is maintaining its altitude of about 100 feet flying directly towards the city.
Shain: What could possibly go wrong?
Shain: Oh,
Shain: I’m going to have to go ahead and get a view like with the sunlight and stuff,
Shain: hitting it.
Shain: Is it landed? Has it landed yet or no?
DM: About here is where it’s currently at.
DM: So it has blade waste to.
Shain: The majority of like a line like like that.
DM: I’m sure here.
DM: It has that’s not the one I’m trying to do.
DM: It’s kind of a laid way to like here so far and it’s just kind of continuing.
Shain: How big is this one?
DM: How big is what?
Shain: This one.
DM: Since it has kind of those red like lines going through it as it’s breathing fire.
DM: You would estimate the wingspan to be about 150.
Shain: 150 ish.
DM: The length of the actual dragon from like head to tail is about 100 feet.
DM: It falls about in line with what you had previously been rumored on.
DM: Not necessarily use.
DM: Hmm.
Shain: Question.
Shain: This is theoretical.
Shain: I would love to do it.
Shain: But also at the same time, I don’t think it’s going to work because the measurements aren’t correct.
Shain: If I were to polymorph, fly up to the dragon, unpolymorph into like not into its mouth,
Shain: but like onto its head.
Shain: Right.
Shain: Wall of force, the creature, mid-air, because it doesn’t have to be like a physical point,
Shain: it’s not to be touching anything and try and box him in completely so he can’t do any more damage.
Shain: Hmm.
Aerendyl: I have an idea of Lux.
Shain: You’re going to get…
DM: So the problem is, is there is no way you’d be able to catch up to the dragon.
Shain: I thought of it.
Shain: It’s a true idea.
Shain: They would kill me.
Shain: But what if I did?
Shain: What if I could?
Shain: I have a… I don’t think I can double concentrate.
DM: You couldn’t cast that ball, but there is zero way.
Shain: But also theoretically speaking, theoretically speaking, I have a spell-storing ring.
DM: I hope as he can hold concentration.
Shain: I could put that on there and it keeps concentration for me.
Aerendyl: That just gives you a normal spell slot, right?
Shain: The spell-storing ring, I think.
Aerendyl: Oh, you have a spell storing me. I gave you a spell refueling ring.
Aerendyl: I’m not going to.
Shain: Oh, it’s as if you passed it through it, never mind.
Shain: It’s not holding a sound concentration.
Shain: Never mind. Nope, can’t be done.
Shain: All right.
Shain: Jane is going to then, I guess, uh…
DM: For the record, you have a spell scroll called control weather.
Shain: trying to get to…
Shain: Yeah, true.
Shain: This would be the time.
Shain: I just got to get within range of them.
Aerendyl: Make it rain so that the fire he spreads, you know.
DM: You take control of weather within five miles of you.
Shain: Ah!
DM: Like you’re you’re within range.
Shain: I can do wind control acid.
Shain: Hang on, wait a minute, is there acid?
Shain: One second.
Shain: Hail.
DM: You can make a blizzard.
Shain: You know what?
Shain: Yeah, why not?
Shain: We’re going to do temperature. Wait, how does this work?
Shain: I’ve never done this before.
Shain: Five malradious DM determines you can change precipitation temperature when…
Shain: Oh, you have to roll 1D for every 10 minutes.
Shain: So it’s a 1 in 4 chance that I could…
DM: It takes one before times ten minutes for the new condition to take effect.
Shain: Oh.
DM: When you change the weather conditions find.
DM: I had a current condition on the following table and change it stage by one upper now.
DM: So essentially you can make it be light clouds.
DM: You could make it be either cold or warm.
DM: And then you can also make it to where there’s strong winds or it’s calm.
Shain: That’s it.
Shain: Cool.
Shain: Um, I will then…
DM: And there’s like, I think it will make a lot of difference.
Shain: I guess Aaron Gorin and like, Caitlin’s still here.
Shain: They already booked it.
Shain: They didn’t take me, no.
DM: There they’re already like horseback their like, making white.
Shain: I guess what I’ll do is I’ll pull out the spell scroll.
Shain: And just like…
DM: Well, no, you can’t. You can only change it up and down by once. You can make light
Shain: I’m going to have to drag an army to deal this little piece of work.
Shain: All right.
Shain: Fine.
Shain: And I’ll set it down and I’ll activate like it’s our cane schedule.
Shain: I’m going to get…
Aerendyl: Good.
Shain: What is driving hell?
Shain: I’m curious.
DM: clouds, make it cold, and then make it with strong wind.
Shain: So it has to increase.
Shain: Well, then…
Shain: Dang.
Shain: That’s rough.
Shain: I guess I’m not doing that.
DM: Try the wand of wonder.
Shain: I’m just going to go follow them.
Shain: Whatever.
Shain: I’m going to do anything.
Shain: I’m…
Shain: You know what?
DM: That would be really pointless.
Shain: Sure.
Shain: Let’s do it.
Shain: Nevermind.
Shain: No, I’m here.
Shain: That’s not point.
Shain: I’m here.
DM: You’re here. The very top would be to you’re within 45 feet.
DM: At this point, you would be within 45 feet every day.
Aerendyl: I’m 40-5 feet.
DM: If you had more warning of where you would have been closer, you could have made your way over here.
DM: I will note, by the way, that even though the dragon changed directory, there are many spells that are being shot at the dragon, the walls and city as mages and different spell casters attempt to deter the dragon.
Aerendyl: Now I will say butter.
DM: It does not seem to be having much.
DM: The transit most of it does appear to be like week.
Aerendyl: I will say.
DM: I get that, but there’s no way for you to make it all the way to the other one.
DM: These walls are not sticking 80 feet tall.
Aerendyl: What can I do?
Shain: If you can somehow get my attention, uh, nudge, nudge, I can fly you over to the dragon, you can go in there.
DM: Just look at it in such a broad path, look at it in different ways.
Aerendyl: That’s a dumb idea, but it’s an idea.
Shain: to nuclear bomb in your hand.
DM: Yeah, yes, dragon. Just let me answer this question first. If the dragon stays flying at 100 feet,
DM: there is no point within the city that you actually be able to reach. The tallest tower within the
DM: entire city is going to be this guard tower here, which does go up to 65 feet, but that’s still only
Shain: I’m going to start with the first one.
DM: 35 feet away from the dragon at 100 feet. So, unless you could magically… Okay, yes,
DM: guys. Okay. Oh, yeah. I should keep believing. Come back. Is there a way for me to be like, actually,
Aerendyl: I have a dumb idea.
Shain: I’m going to start with the second one.
Shain: I’m going to start with the second one
DM: you don’t get me. It’s not a bot. It’s just like the server settings. I don’t want to change it.
Shain: I’m going start with the second one.
Aerendyl: I have that.
Shain: Oops!
Shain: I’m sorry, I’m sorry, I’m sorry.
Shain: I’m sorry.
Shain: I’m sorry!
Shain: Hey.
DM: If you give me like 23 seconds, I know I can find this out.
Aerendyl: Can you give glow like a roll?
Aerendyl: I know.
DM: Yes. I’m actually going to… I’m actually going to tell you this because this is revolutionary. If you
Shain: I wish this was not for that.
Shain: Primary rooftops
DM: aren’t not concerned about fall damage, you can misty step post to the dragon and you would be within 30 feet.
DM: Not necessarily misty step, but blessing them very quickly. Then when will you be casting that instead of
Shain: The Web site focuses on volume 2
Aerendyl: Unless I cast wind wall to stop my fall.
Aerendyl: I will say.
DM: attacking the dragon? Yeah, he’s too far up. You would only be the only point in misty stepping
Aerendyl: I’m trying to get.
Aerendyl: I’m trying to step on top of the dragon.
DM: would be to get within range. You would still be 15 feet away from the dragon.
DM: Yes. I didn’t even realize that you had levitate. Sorry, so you’re telling me that you just became
Aerendyl: I can cast levitate on myself.
Aerendyl: I do have levitate.
Shain: other
DM: thinking, Chaco or Rago, just overnight, when did that happen? One creature object. Yeah, okay. Your main
Aerendyl: I mean, I have a.
DM: suspended here for the duration. This bug in that table. Put target can move only by pushing or pulling
Shain: you
Aerendyl: I’ve never used levitate.
DM: against the fixed object of service. So you could cast that on yourself and you float up 20 feet.
Aerendyl: I have a.
Aerendyl: Wait a second.
DM: An unknown creature that succeeds on a constitution same as there is unaffected and you would be able to
DM: change its feet up or down by 20 feet on your turn. But no, theoretically, science tells me no. If you
Shain: I’m going to take gravity.
DM: cast a spell, he basically loses gravity effects, which means he would just continue to coast and then he
Shain: Wait a minute.
DM: would just fly away from the city because he can’t stop. You know how to get within 30 feet. You cast
Shain: I have a can trip that next creature is prone.
Aerendyl: That’s the problem.
Shain: I just got to get within 30 feet of the guy and he feels the same.
Aerendyl: I’m doing it.
DM: this levitate on yourself, then you can misty step for blessing the river between right up to him. If
Shain: I’m going to take a little bit of the guy.
DM: you would be able to get right on top of him even if he was hired. Like that is an option.
Shain: He’s thinking about it.
Shain: He’s going to do it.
DM: No, I do feel like I have to for warn you. The odds of you getting completely toasted is high.
Shain: All right.
Shain: Do it.
Shain: Yes.
DM: Let me put it this way. Have you ever tried to touch the back of a grill?
DM: I do feel like I have to kind of. Yeah. I mean, the only place that would even be remotely safe is possibly the tail.
Shain: If you.
Aerendyl: Through its body.
DM: Most of the lines do not go all the way back to the tail. So there’s only like a couple. So that
DM: theoretically should be kind of cooler, but it is kind of flopping back and forth as it’s fun.
DM: Now, I feel like I do have to say just because I pointed that out does not mean that I am urging you to
DM: do it. Yes, sir. Okay.
Aerendyl: I have an idea.
Aerendyl: Levitate on myself.
Aerendyl: I jump.
Aerendyl: I’m levitating.
DM: I appreciate the idea. I do. Let me let me point out the reprobble is what the first of all, how would you get out of the way?
Aerendyl: I jump off.
Aerendyl: I’m still floating.
Aerendyl: I just let it pass me by.
Shain: I’m going to take a little bit of the guy.
DM: You wouldn’t be able to not really and you can’t throw it after that.
Aerendyl: I have an item.
DM: It does. It does indeed.
DM: That is not how you are aware of this shield to work.
DM: For what you know, regardless of the amount that was supposed to have been taken, it only counts as one attack.
DM: And you get the one hit. Now that big set. That’s still just one of the problems.
DM: Problem number two. All right. You never crushed up your thinking rock to turn it into the bomb.
Shain: Let’s see on the front.
DM: You have to crush it up and mix it into the sand and stuff.
DM: And then, uh,
Aerendyl: I know that.
DM: the title and I feel like this seems to be the most important thing.
Aerendyl: The dragon will be.
DM: Even if this does work, there is no guarantee that it does anything to the dragon.
DM: And it might just turn at you and cook you while spewing fire.
DM: Lava, the Venus.
DM: Now, you do you. I’m not saying no to you. If you want to go for it, go for it.
Aerendyl: What is me?
Aerendyl: I’m going to start prepping the nukes at least.
Aerendyl: I’m going to run across the wall.
DM: So let me get this straight. You got to, you got like the whatever it’s called.
Aerendyl: And get to where I see the sun.
DM: The Handsome and Gretel. That one.
DM: And you’re just running. You’re just running down the stinking.
DM: No, no, no, no. You got the you got the ports from you.
DM: You got it all port and they’re just running across the wall and going.
DM: Big sense of it.
DM: You do, like I said, you got like three of like the black ones.
DM: And for the record, the explosion once she specifically mentioned it be the black stones.
DM: So you don’t know what would happen if you mix the others.
DM: The black stone spins.
Aerendyl: I’m going to start crushing it on my way.
DM: You do that then.
DM: No, you haven’t. I’m talking.
DM: Very nice try, but it’s been like 12 seconds since you decided this head this way.
DM: Like this dragon is flying at 80 feet per second.
DM: Like it’s it’s cooking. All right. And it’s cooking the city along with it.
DM: You think your war horse can outrun a dragon?
DM: It is, it is. Like you’re going fast. I’ll give you that. You’re going fast.
DM: But you’re still going through people.
DM: You’re going through people?
DM: Okay. I didn’t realize that. Okay. This is like you’re a lot closer than I was thinking.
DM: So, so you’re that kind of all of them.
Aerendyl: Oh, but I can’t break into an unused warehouse.
DM: I understand. I did know that we were the insjustify the means type of element.
Caitlin: I can feel three or four people on the way.
Aerendyl: Oh, but I can’t break into a blacksmith.
DM: Just stopping their internal organs. If they die as a result, oops,
DM: he’s easy. They should have had better health coverage.
Aerendyl: I’m going to go to a blacksmith.
Caitlin: I can feel three people on the way.
DM: Anyways, the reason why I’m trying to continue here is because it actually doesn’t matter where
DM: you guys think you’re going as the dragon begins to circle right here in the center of town,
DM: spewing down fire, making a radius about like a about like a sow of just
Aerendyl: I’m going to run across the wall.
DM: a
Aerendyl: Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait.
DM: there is a statue, but it is right here.
Aerendyl: Butter.
Aerendyl: Center of town.
Aerendyl: Wasn’t that where the statues were?
DM: Just the curiosity. Why would that have mattered?
Aerendyl: The statues weren’t a thing until now.
Aerendyl: Like they were just announced the voting statue.
DM: Oh, okay. Yeah. Um, but no.
Aerendyl: I was wondering if it was made out of some sort of material that the dragon really wants because it’s shiny metal.
DM: But
Caitlin: Are you just hates the fucker?
DM: but as it kind of
DM: flies and circles, just making essentially a landing pad of lava as a kind of decent and stops
DM: right at the center. Um, it kind of does one more screech just like it did at
Aerendyl: I’m going to run across the wall.
DM: its beginning of its attack. Um, keep in mind at this point, countless lives have been lost.
DM: Like you are all painfully aware of this as people are literally screaming and crying and there
DM: were there were walls of smoke coming up from everywhere that the dragon dragon has fallen through.
DM: Um, but the dragon kind of plans there.
DM: And everything is not silent, but it’s far quieter than it has been for a while as kind of the
DM: lava just stops moving completely and the fires don’t spread as though he can somehow control them.
DM: Um,
DM: no, you ain’t how you can do that one.
DM: How are you familiar with him?
DM: That’s not familiar.
Shain: Why not that a creature you’re familiar with.
Shain: I’ve heard of them.
DM: It’s coming. I can feel it. Evil.
Shain: Yes.
DM: are you?
DM: It’s
DM: I’m detecting center of the city.
Caitlin: Locate object.
DM: No, no, actually, you’re actually really glad that you’re not on the watch tower. You guys are
DM: about here as you made it through the city because this was the watch tower you were going to
DM: and it is now level on the ground gone reduced.
DM: But the dragon has, yes.
DM: You’re nowhere close to shoot the dragon.
DM: I appreciate your attempts. I really, really do.
DM: But exactly what are you trying to do against an ancient dragon?
Aerendyl: Wait.
DM: The what?
DM: As far as you can tell, he’s probably ignored. He has tried.
Aerendyl: I know how to take down the dragon.
DM: Hmm.
DM: I forgot about Shrek. It’s not my fault. So I can just imagine this little dragon.
DM: What?
DM: No. Um, anyways, um,
DM: as the dragon landed, um,
Caitlin: I think that guy is still meeting up.
DM: after a couple seconds of what is kind of feels like silence.
DM: You all get a strange sensation. Um, you know what it’s like to receive a message.
Caitlin: He’s going to do that and immediately sound exactly the same.
DM: And that’s kind of what this feels like, but it feels overpowering as you all kind of get
DM: the same message just poured into your heads.
DM: Hang on, let me pull up the script to your hand.
DM: I don’t think that thing would be good.
DM: I don’t think it would work too great with this.
Caitlin: Read the script, butter.
DM: It might. Oh.
Caitlin: Read the script.
DM: It’s up to you. Okay. Would you try to do the thing?
DM: Oh crap. No, it’s not that good. Shut up. Um,
DM: but, uh,
DM: you thought that now, um, you just get kind of, um, the, the voice seems sounds almost,
DM: almost happy in a way. It’s kind of, um, off-putting as.
DM: It’s just, uh, hang on, hang on, hang on.
DM: No. Um,
DM: oh my god, that’s pretty going to good. Why am I prolonging this? All right.
DM: You get the one who stood against me before is no longer here and get the boy returns to his home.
DM: Bring me the air of God or the city your city.
DM: We reduced to ash which dawn I’m denied a new quarter.
DM: Judica will burn the screams will be on your soul.
DM: Yes.
DM: Yes, everybody seems to have heard it.
DM: You’re going for it?
Caitlin: I mean, I’m going towards the dragon.
DM: Well, you don’t really have that context.
DM: Um,
DM: no.
DM: Once again, hang on.
DM: I didn’t know it was your one to make a new character. I forgot about that.
Aerendyl: Please tell me this isn’t just because Andrew wanted to make a new character.
Aerendyl: That’s fucking awesome.
DM: You are.
Aerendyl: I hope your next character isn’t just the Lord of the Rings rip off.
DM: You.
DM: Ah, that’s our.
Aerendyl: Thank you.
DM: Did you’re agony?
DM: Well, considering the fact that after his proclamation, you kind of got a little bit closer
DM: while he was like yelling, so you can kind of see him because you’re kind of here at
DM: this point.
DM: He has laid down.
DM: He’s kind of like, curled up.
DM: He’s not stressing it.
DM: But the problem is that you’re going to be faced is that this gigantic ring is filled
DM: with lava.
DM: So you could probably get pretty darn close.
DM: But no, no, it’s like he descended from 100 feet in a swirling pattern just spewing lava
DM: down.
DM: So it’s pretty thick lava.
DM: Like it’s not going to be some of the, it’s completely through and through.
DM: He’s sleeping on the lava.
DM: It’s a pool of lava at this point.
DM: Now, I’m just going to be point two seconds.
DM: I just want to clarify the hair to display it as the sword that you got from your fault.
Aragorn: Right.
Aerendyl: Oh.
DM: Correct?
DM: I wanted to make sure that that I wasn’t misinterpreting what the sword was.
DM: If I may ask, what is your, are you just curious if this will do something?
DM: Or did you have any intention when you, whenever you did this?
DM: Well, my friends.
DM: I got you.
DM: Well, Eric, I have a question.
DM: You can either make a wisdom saving throw or you can give into it.
DM: It is, it is his skill that is currently being applied.
DM: So you would just kind of intuitively know that.
DM: Are you going to try to resist it or you’re going to allow taking care of it?
DM: You have no idea what it’s going to do.
DM: You just know that he, something that he is, his skill or something is going to somehow
Aragorn: Do I need to like know what it is or.
DM: affect you.
Aerendyl: That’s a by this is butter talk for you want to make a wisdom saving throw or do you want to make a new character because you’re about to die.
DM: I never once said that.
Aerendyl: I’m pretty sure I heard that.
DM: But my friend, as you stand there wielding your, your historical sword, you kind of stand
DM: proud for a moment as the magic kind of takes hold.
DM: As you feel a kind of a sense of power and strength as from an external perspective, my
DM: friend.
DM: Nathaniel, he begins to glow kind of with a, the theorial sense as a, as a manifestation
Aerendyl: I’m going to run across the wall.
DM: of a crown worthy of a grand king just manifests around your head.
DM: You know that stink at anime effect whenever it goes, boom, as like, like, there is sense
DM: of presence and aura.
DM: Literally, it’s literally that.
DM: As the dragon, the dragon perfectly reacts to your response as it jolt up from what assumed
DM: would be he could take a nap.
DM: He’s not stressing at the maybe you show up.
DM: And if you do, you’ll be thrown in from by the peasants like it’s not a big deal as
DM: he was not expecting this at all as he looks your way.
DM: You kind of, you, you, you feel a comforting hand almost as though it’s not just you who’s
DM: wielding the sword.
DM: As you feel extremely powerful, do you want to try anything?
Aragorn: Is it?
DM: So you would be that’s a givevert take ish 60 to 80 feet away depending on if we’re talking
DM: like the closest like you versus the head of the dragon that is looking directly at you
DM: as it’s gotten up.
DM: That’s about 60 issue.
DM: Well, not really a hand on your shoulder.
Aragorn: So I feel a hand on my shoulder.
DM: It’s the kind of like the presence of somebody else like almost the weight of the sword is
Aragorn: Like a present.
DM: gone.
DM: Somebody else is helping you wield it.
DM: Yes, right.
DM: You would have been running that way from here.
DM: So you would be about here as they’re kind of over here.
DM: Yeah, I assume you would have would use the same run on the buildings strats.
DM: Oh, yes.
DM: Okay, you can kind of just have that one.
DM: But everyone, did you want to try anything?
Shain: Am I there?
DM: Yes, you kind of you’re you’re you’re you’re getting there.
DM: You’re not like there there yet.
DM: Like you’re you’re kind of back here.
DM: You’re running on foot.
DM: No, not yet.
Shain: Am I? Am I within? Am I?
DM: No, you left him behind.
Aragorn: I’m going to.
Aragorn: I want to go to this main.
DM: Yeah, well, I mean, it’s like right there.
Aragorn: To this main road right here.
DM: You’re essentially in kind of like the thing.
DM: So you’re kind of on the road spacing straight on from like the main road.
Aragorn: I’m up.
DM: So you have a clear view of the track.
Aragorn: I’m like point my sore in them.
Aragorn: I’m like you foul beast.
Aragorn: The prodigal son has returned.
Aragorn: And as return to slay you.
DM: The dragon snarls as it approaches and says, I cannot be beaten with borrowed power.
Aragorn: And push your hide as a banner to look upon enjoy while I sit upon my throne.
DM: Just give me the.
DM: Sorry, my brain just had a stroke.
Aragorn: Give me that.
DM: I swear to you, it did.
DM: I ate myself.
Aragorn: Yes, the thing is yes, the season.
DM: Bro.
DM: Yeah, yeah, it’s it’s Paul.
Aragorn: Give me one second.
DM: It man.
DM: I want to tell you.
Aragorn: It is.
DM: Yeah, he’s like kind of like head is down kind of just crawling closer.
Aragorn: I’ll let that mother for her.
DM: Okay, I will.
Aragorn: I will give you.
DM: As he crawls closer, give me the Abbey 10.
DM: I let you let you live.
DM: You’re in a prodigal son.
DM: You are what’s left over.
Aragorn: I will give you nothing.
Aragorn: I will give you but the pain you inflicted upon my kingdom.
Aragorn: I will give you the trauma that you have inflicted upon me and my family.
DM: Oh, just to make sure Nate, are you kind of proudly standing next to him or you trying
Aragorn: I shall put your head on a pedestal where it belongs.
DM: to like hide kind of like right there and is like right here in the back alley just close
DM: enough to give him power like what’s.
DM: Okay, by the way, you just just so that you were aware this is not an area of effect skill.
DM: It’s not going to affect you this time because like I said, perfect weapon control is you
DM: together each time.
DM: Before the record, I was really, really hoping that you would do it too.
DM: I was just concerned whenever you asked like, but I was like, let’s see what’s he trying
DM: to do.
DM: But anyways, dragon, you would kind of approach at this point as the dragon is just crawling
DM: closer and closer and they’re speaking back and forth.
DM: You theoretically could do something if you’d like or would you just want to kind of stand
DM: there with them.
DM: Would you want to stand off to the side on the buildings?
DM: I understand you’re not actually at your computer, but I know that you can hear me.
DM: So that’s why I’m talking.
Aragorn: I will give you a moment.
DM: I’ll just wait.
DM: Man, always wait on dragon.
Aragorn: I will give you.
DM: Okay, well, I’m just going to make this is informed because he’s not here yet.
DM: He’s just going to, okay, yes, I will let you know when he’s within 30 feet.
Aerendyl: Sorry.
Aerendyl: I was glad.
DM: He is right now crawling forward.
DM: He’s about 42 feet away.
Aerendyl: I was expecting you to focus on Andrew.
DM: Yeah, I know.
DM: I get it.
DM: I’m sorry.
DM: I just need to know because you were like kind of right there.
DM: So I need to know where you trying to go because you would be kind of about here as you
Aerendyl: Basically.
DM: can.
DM: You can stand next to him.
DM: If you want to stand on the building, you stand in like the alleyway trying to hide
DM: yourself.
Aerendyl: I know for a fact that this dragon is his eyes are only on arogorn.
DM: Where would you go?
Aerendyl: We don’t even exist to him.
DM: Completely and utterly.
Aerendyl: Realistically speaking.
DM: Essentially as far as you know.
Aerendyl: I’m going to have my hood up.
Aerendyl: So maybe that’ll help.
Aerendyl: I’m going to stay there.
Aerendyl: I’m going to stay where I’m at and prepare one more bomb.
Aragorn: It’s like good.
Aerendyl: I’m going to have two of these prepared in my bag.
DM: Sure.
Aerendyl: I’m actually going to ready the one that I made.
Aragorn: Let me die a worthy death.
DM: Oh, my gosh.
Aerendyl: Just finish.
Aerendyl: It’s just you’re holding two bags of holding and then you fold it like a pair of socks.
Aerendyl: I’m going to stand.
Aerendyl: I’m going to stay up here.
Aerendyl: I’m going to make another bomb.
Aerendyl: And then I want to prepare an action to eat this thing with my metal armor as far as I can.
Aerendyl: To where that center dot is.
Aerendyl: Or at least the center of where the dragon’s body will be whenever he’s moving.
Aerendyl: I want to try and go under him.
DM: So, so you’re throwing.
DM: Did you say that that this is just one of the ones you made or are you putting everything into
Aerendyl: I’m not.
DM: one?
Aerendyl: So I’m the one with the big stone crushed up.
Aerendyl: That’s going to be my main one and then I’ll make a backup for anything else.
DM: And so you’re going to throw the main one then.
Aerendyl: If like we get into combat.
DM: Oh, you’re just preparing it.
Aerendyl: For some reason or.
DM: You’re not actually doing it.
Aerendyl: Yes, because I want Andrew to do his thing.
DM: I’m sorry.
DM: I misunderstood.
Aerendyl: Also when I see Andrew holding a golden sword.
Aerendyl: And like I see his aura.
Aerendyl: But as a backup.
DM: I got you.
Aerendyl: As I as a backup like things goes south.
Aerendyl: I want to throw this underneath the dragon and implode him basically from underneath.
DM: I’m falling.
Aerendyl: And theoretically.
DM: Just give me just point this.
Aerendyl: Theoretically it should ignite instantly because of the lava if he’s under the lava.
Aerendyl: Theoretically.
DM: Um.
Aerendyl: I’m up here.
DM: I’m.
Aerendyl: I’m up on this roof.
Aerendyl: So I think you’re like right down here.
Aerendyl: You don’t see me.
Aragorn: Does this guy ask any other questions?
Aragorn: I think my toys broken.
Aerendyl: Is this becoming the new dark vision.
DM: Now, gosh.
Aragorn: This is the new still for you bar.
Aerendyl: This is the new dark.
Aragorn: I will give you.
Aerendyl: The rebarbs.
DM: Like I literally just need like.
Aerendyl: Actually, it may within 30 feet.
DM: I just think like 49.67 seconds.
DM: I apologize.
Aerendyl: I love how Shane is literally just seeing Andrew turn to a god.
Aerendyl: And his first thought is.
Aerendyl: I want to make him faster.
Aerendyl: I’m not sure if he’s going to be able to do that.
DM: I’m so sorry.
DM: My computer is just kind of like crapped itself and my notes closed and I desperately need them
DM: because I don’t want to be like incorrect.
Aerendyl: No, but like in terms of terms of like the individual.
DM: You know.
DM: I know.
Aerendyl: Again.
DM: I’m sorry.
Aragorn: It’s a body pulpit.
Aerendyl: Really better again.
Aerendyl: See better.
Aerendyl: This is why you need.
Aerendyl: But this is why you need to build new PC and not just keep upgrading the same one.
DM: This is a freshly built PC.
Aerendyl: Oh, I’m sorry for your loss, buddy.
DM: Speaking of which completely like, um, completely like side tangent.
Aerendyl: Your PC building sucks.
DM: But like actually I, I, I, I, I’m there.
DM: The research.
DM: I’ll have some computers that need it.
DM: Oh, so.
DM: I’m.
DM: But yeah, yeah, yeah.
DM: So, um.
DM: Where is it?
DM: You know.
DM: Uh, where is it?
DM: Little.
Aerendyl: I’m sorry.
DM: You.
Aerendyl: We’re waiting on butter anyways.
Aerendyl: I am shocked that this is happening.
Aerendyl: I was not expecting this to happen.
DM: Yeah, I know. I’m very, very sorry.
Aerendyl: At all.
Aerendyl: Why am I hearing L.D.
Aerendyl: Music.
Aerendyl: Dude.
Aerendyl: Who put hurry under the dragon’s tab.
Aerendyl: I must have been the wind.
DM: It must have been the wind.
Aerendyl: I’m so happy that Andrew is finally getting his arc.
DM: I’m sorry.
Aragorn: It’s like a 1 piece arc.
Caitlin: I’m out one point three seconds.
Aerendyl: Worth it though.
Aragorn: It’s worth it.
Aerendyl: So.
DM: I’m so sorry. I really, really am.
Aerendyl: As long as you don’t get tired at 11 p.m.
DM: But I can’t find the thingy.
Aragorn: I’m.
Aerendyl: And go this is where we’re ending session.
DM: Oh, no, no. For the record, I’m high on so many drugs.
Aerendyl: What you’re saying?
DM: I got so much sleep. Like I’m cooked to go to 1 a.m.
DM: If you guys are cooking.
Aerendyl: What you saying?
Aerendyl: Oh.
DM: That we.
Aragorn: It’s that one fucking wolf meme.
DM: Okay, I do apologize. I got it all back up. I’m super sorry. Super super sorry.
DM: I just it just do be like that sometimes, you know.
DM: But anyways, yes. So the dragon is creeping forwards.
Aragorn: I will give you.
DM: Dragon has prepared to throw the thing.
DM: Foxy, you finally get close.
DM: I’m sorry.
DM: You’re about 30 feet away from.
DM: From the.
DM: From.
DM: Nate and Andrew.
DM: So that’s about 70ish feet away from the dragon.
DM: What are you doing?
Aerendyl: I got spirit bomb.
Aerendyl: What?
Aragorn: That’s what he wanted.
Aerendyl: I’m sorry.
DM: I’m not.
Aragorn: I think this is an appropriate song.
Aerendyl: He’s a 16.
DM: What?
Aragorn: I think it is.
DM: Oh, my gosh.
Aerendyl: He’s the age we’re not to disrespect loves.
DM: It is approaching.
DM: Ever still.
DM: And it is now within 30 feet.
DM: What magically happens?
DM: What defaults the sport of old beast?
DM: What?
DM: Well, well, well, you think a Nate has been asking to remind him the moment he’s within 30 feet.
DM: He knows is within 30 feet.
DM: He is that within range.
DM: What happens?
DM: You what?
Aerendyl: I’m going to come.
DM: I’m falling.
DM: I see.
DM: Well, the the dragon kind of stops at about 25ish feet out as he just looks to that on.
DM: I’m expecting you to make a move some pitiful excuse for resistance.
DM: Or to offer yourself up.
DM: But he’s clearly waiting for you to make a move before he does anything.
DM: As he also essentially falls his action.
Aragorn: You are expecting me to do anything.
DM: He just kind of snorls and says,
DM: not like.
DM: And he just says, call me what you will.
DM: But at least I’ll be prepared for your pitiful resistance.
DM: This is what I’m going to say.
DM: I’m going to say this is what I’m going to say.
DM: Because he kind of.
DM: You’re not exactly sure what he does.
DM: But the kind of scales that are kind of on his face.
DM: They look as old.
DM: They they they’ve gotten more black.
DM: They kind of lost.
DM: Almost like obsidian.
DM: I’m.
DM: Um.
DM: The speed of the level of my gosh.
DM: So yeah, just like.
DM: You know, what are you.
DM: Are you going to do anything or you,
DM: you also going to sit there and wait for him to kind of.
Aragorn: I will walk up a little bit.
DM: Okay, you can’t walk up much because he’s still like on the lava.
DM: lava. Okay.
Aragorn: I will walk up as close as I can.
DM: Hey, this your filthy casual.
Aerendyl: I know.
DM: Oh my gosh, I found that.
Aerendyl: Oh.
Aerendyl: Oh my goodness.
DM: Bro, I’ve been looking for these for 20 minutes.
DM: All right. Hang on. I need to.
DM: I need to.
Aragorn: How long is it?
Aerendyl: Wait a second.
Aerendyl: It’s crazy how you might kill three because of me.
DM: It’s crazy that you think that’s what’s about to happen.
Aerendyl: I’m going to kill three because of me.
DM: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Shain: Let, let teamwork win for the sake of an array.
Aerendyl: It’s what we handle it.
DM: What?
DM: Oh, oopsies. Sorry.
DM: I was editing the wrong thing.
DM: Look, I’m like an idiot.
Aerendyl: It’s black.
DM: I’m not going to be able to do that.
Aerendyl: I have light vision.
DM: I apologize.
DM: There’s nothing to see. That’s why.
DM: You should be able to see.
DM: I don’t know.
DM: What do you think I’m trying to do right now?
DM: What?
DM: What exactly did you think was happening here?
Shain: We’re playing a dnd.
DM: I’m not sure.
Shain: We’re playing with your friends and make unnecessary remarks.
Shain: Yes.
DM: Ignore the fact that it’s.
DM: Ignore the fact that it’s red.
DM: It’s just.
DM: Anyways.
Aerendyl: I should be up here.
DM: I’m sorry, didn’t you say that you were Marines understood them?
DM: You’re right.
Aerendyl: I was perched up on the house.
DM: No, no, no, like I said, he’s still just kind of standing there waiting for you guys to do something.
DM: No, that’s the thing I did.
Aerendyl: I’m going to kill three because of me.
DM: Me too.
DM: It’s just.
DM: We can see you move it.
DM: Okay, okay, please stop.
DM: Okay, okay, please.
DM: As he just kind of sits there and waits for a movement, he kind of snarkly says, you
DM: call me a coward, but you frozen in fear.
DM: Wait, wait, did Andrew go?
Shain: Right behind my.
DM: I’m sorry, not Andrew.
DM: Where did-
DM: What the-
Aerendyl: Where did there is?
DM: Oh my god.
Aragorn: I would like to attack.
DM: Alrighty.
Aragorn: Let’s get this show on the road.
DM: My friend.
DM: Where else would I get a city on fire battle map at the last second?
Aragorn: Reddit.
DM: Where do you think I got it from?
Aragorn: I will walk up a little bit.
DM: I got it from our slash battle maps.
DM: Yes, it is.
DM: Anyways, so you said you’re going to attack.
DM: I will tell you that even though he’s out of range of melee, you do kind of get the feeling
DM: that somehow swinging your sword will connect him.
DM: Alright, go ahead and as you prepare this attack, you kind of spring the sword up, square
DM: shoulders and go to swing it out.
DM: And like I said previously, it feels as though somebody is assisting as your crown grows
DM: the little- a little bit in brightness.
DM: It seems to shine as a sea.
DM: Yeah, Caitlin, you notice that kind of over his shoulder, the face of an old man appears
DM: to be wearing another brow as he swings the sword and a bolt of white light shines
DM: forwards hitting the dragon.
DM: Now, no, it does not kill the dragon at all.
Aerendyl: Wait, give me out.
DM: Yes, hang on.
Aerendyl: I’m sorry.
Aragorn: Calm down.
DM: Oh my gosh, I know.
DM: I’m talking.
Aerendyl: No, you’re not.
Aragorn: Let me get the pen and paper.
DM: Oh, fair enough.
Aerendyl: You’re muted actually.
DM: I got you. I’ll just keep my mouth shut then.
Aragorn: As we swing the sword, I kill the dragon.
Aerendyl: I’m going to kill three because of me.
DM: Um,
DM: I’m just, I’m,
DM: my dear friend, these, these attacks that you are making will always connect as long as you
DM: are within range.
DM: You just roll damage.
DM: You don’t know the range.
DM: Probably try and figure it out, but you probably guesstimate 30-ish feet.
DM: Um, what?
Aerendyl: Is it the circle?
Aerendyl: Sir, I need paint.
DM: But as you can roll a damage, if you’d like, or I can roll it for you, it’s 58 base.
Shain: It is a thought circle, the quarter circle.
Shain: With no weapon die, with no weapon die.
Aerendyl: It should.
Aragorn: Let me find my DA.
DM: It’s just, that’s just base.
Shain: With no weapon die or with the weapon die.
DM: It’s not.
DM: Not buff, but then even fun stuff.
DM: Oh gosh, not keeping count.
Shain: I’m pulling it.
Shain: I got four.
Shain: Five.
Shain: Six.
Aerendyl: Wait.
DM: I said base.
Shain: Yes.
DM: I mean, you can, you can use the last features to be like.
DM: Yes, her.
Aerendyl: I’m going to kill three because of me.
DM: I’m going to say no because that is that’s that’s that’s that’s cheesy.
DM: If it’s always going to connect, you don’t even roll for attack.
Shain: And then what’s your weapon eye on the sword, Andrew?
Shain: Like a D10 maybe a wheeled reverse tile or 2d6?
DM: Uh-huh.
Shain: That might be one of them.
Shain: Are you two handing it or one handing?
Shain: So 2d6.
Aerendyl: Sidebar with me real quick.
DM: No side part.
Shain: So another 2d6 of damage.
DM: No, get this.
DM: If it better.
DM: Now.
Shain: Another 14.
Shain: At least one strike did 40 damage.
Aerendyl: 31.
DM: At this point, at this point, may I please roll the die for you?
Shain: 40.
Shain: Yes.
DM: How many, how many, how many attacks are you doing?
Aerendyl: I’m I want to see.
Shain: So three.
Shain: If you.
Shain: If Andrew actually.
DM: How many more did you just say?
Shain: Five more.
Shain: The weapon.
DM: Which, so it should be 58 plus 2d8.
DM: Is that correct?
Shain: Five d8 plus 2d6 from his sword weapon plus.
Shain: Plus four on that because of his strength.
Shain: Plus your proficient with that sword correct.
Shain: Don’t you need to add proficiency to the damage.
Shain: So five d6.
Aragorn: I believe so.
Shain: So five d8 is that based with damage or whatever.
Shain: The 2d6 from your sword itself because you’re two handing it.
Shain: It’s a great sword.
Shain: Then you’re having the flat modifier to every attack roll itself is your
Shain: strength plus proficiency.
Aragorn: Yes. Yes.
Shain: Which would be.
Shain: What’s your strength?
Shain: I’m proficiency.
Aragorn: Yes.
Shain: I’m proficiency together.
DM: He should actually get it.
DM: So there is actually another plus four.
Shain: Yep.
Shain: And then proficiency.
Shain: So add eight eight per attack and they’re always hitting.
Shain: So.
DM: I got it.
Aerendyl: I want to see the numbers.
DM: I got the calculation.
Shain: Also, do we want to add every like exploit died to add another d6 to each attack.
DM: This is the most absurd thing I’ve ever written out.
DM: I’m rolling a chat.
Aerendyl: Oh, oh shit.
DM: Don’t worry about that.
Aerendyl: Erickman’s popping up in the chat.
DM: Uh-oh.
Shain: He’s.
DM: I’ll look roll.
Aerendyl: I’m going to kill three because of me.
DM: I don’t know what that does.
Shain: No.
DM: Please tell me you’re joking.
Aerendyl: So what’s 68?
Shain: So one you can do one bonus action faint which.
DM: So.
DM: So once I was the first thing of damage he did.
Shain: 40.
DM: Plus 40.
DM: And then.
Aerendyl: Is it 2d?
DM: Plus 2d8 plus another set of.
Shain: Yes, that’s really you have.
Shain: Oh, you have six.
Shain: You have another attack.
Aerendyl: No.
DM: So that means grand total you do 269 damage.
Aerendyl: Base.
DM: Base.
Aragorn: There is something else.
DM: Holy crap.
DM: Uh, the fact that it’s a beam white that does 5d8.
DM: And auto heads.
DM: What did you want?
Shain: Auto crit.
DM: Now he can’t.
DM: You use action to put it on one.
Shain: Two and then one every level up is so four if you’re doing a third.
Aerendyl: I love how we’re all just like dick writing and group.
DM: Or d8.
Shain: 48 extra.
DM: I don’t know why it rolled as an ancient red dragon.
Shain: That’s fine.
Shain: So the dragon is eviscerated.
DM: Um.
Shain: Oh, no, he’s got the piercer fee.
Shain: I know there’s no proficiency.
DM: No.
Shain: No.
DM: You get auto connecting 5d8 plus 2d8.
DM: Every attack.
DM: If you roll a stick in natural one you miss and you miss all the damage.
Shain: He’s.
DM: And it ends your thinking magic.
DM: I wouldn’t do it.
Aerendyl: I’m waiting for the that was a scratch.
Shain: The dragon’s dead.
DM: I’m not going to do it.
Shain: Cool.
DM: As.
DM: Now, just add a point.
DM: As you kind of.
DM: As you’re sending these bolts of.
DM: It is just.
DM: Change of energy essentially.
DM: His skin that he appeared to have hardened begins to chip off one
DM: after another as you’re hitting it.
Aerendyl: Thank you.
DM: As he begins to kind of back up at every attack.
DM: And he looks almost battered.
DM: If that’s even possible for a dragon.
DM: His eyes.
DM: As there are chunks of his like protective arm.
DM: Obsidian looking stuff.
DM: Just on the ground now.
DM: He looks at you with.
DM: Anger.
DM: And.
DM: Almost a sense of fear.
DM: As.
DM: He growls a deep brow.
Shain: I was.
DM: Says.
DM: That was a.
DM: Good showing.
DM: Probably from your.
DM: Probably health.
DM: Those little ants beside you.
Shain: I was shake my head. No.
DM: As I do need you all to roll.
Shain: I hide.
DM: And.
Shain: I hit the button.
DM: That’s what.
DM: For what’s its.
DM: Initiative.
DM: Now for the record.
DM: I am doing a new thing with initiative because it just makes more sense.
DM: The thing that started out initiative was airborne.
DM: So whenever we continue.
DM: And then we’re going to start with the next person.
DM: After airborne.
DM: So it doesn’t start at the top of the turn order.
DM: It’s skipped to where everyone is and goes to the next person.
Shain: I almost rolled a 40 on initiative.
DM: A 14.
Shain: 40 almost.
Aerendyl: But what is the dragon rule?
DM: What we got from you guys.
DM: I have been I haven’t rolled for the dragon yet. Why.
Aerendyl: I’m wondering if I should use a lucky or not.
DM: I don’t know.
DM: No.
DM: Do you get to know where.
DM: Like.
DM: How does that work?
DM: I thought you just get to choose. No, no, no, I’m saying.
Aerendyl: He has a point.
DM: Because you’re all rolling initiative at the same time.
DM: Would you be able to know with the initiative order is of.
DM: Other creatures to know if you should use lucky or not.
DM: Yeah, I get it.
DM: I get it. It’s just.
DM: Well, let’s.
DM: That’s all for him. See what he gets.
DM: Versus stupid.
DM: Where is it.
Shain: That’s really good or really bad.
DM: Is it a.
Shain: That’s wrong.
Shain: That’s got to be wrong.
Shain: I’m not sure if it’s a dragon.
DM: Zero to initiative.
DM: Oh, that’s why. Okay.
Shain: Unless a dragon has zero dexterity that, you know.
DM: No, my. Okay. Okay. I’m following. I’m following.
DM: Oh.
DM: That would bake him.
Shain: Imagine it rolls a 50.
Aerendyl: I’m only third.
DM: I’m.
DM: He’s not doing to.
DM: I’m going to be honest.
Aerendyl: 15 years old.
DM: Nice.
DM: 15. 15.
DM: What about Caitlin?
DM: What did Caitlin get?
DM: Two.
Aerendyl: 17.
DM: So the funny part about that is.
Shain: Oh, what?
DM: I think he was a.
DM: He was a.
DM: Because I said we start where everyone was.
Shain: Seven.
DM: It go to the next person. That means the dragon’s turn now next.
DM: And then we get Caitlin’s.
DM: So it’s actually better to have rolled lower.
Shain: I don’t like how I got fireball.
DM: Yep.
DM: So it just makes sense.
DM: Okay, so it usually shanes the one that starts combat,
DM: which is really silly how he gets to start combat by doing an action,
DM: by e.g. casting fireball or something.
DM: And then we roll initiative, and then suddenly it says turn again,
DM: because he rolled the first on initiative.
DM: So instead, we roll initiative, and we just go to the next person in line
Aerendyl: Thank you.
DM: from the person that initiated combat, if that makes sense.
DM: So because Erdogor and started combat, we go to his turn in the turn,
DM: or go to the next person, and that’s the person that he is.
DM: So actually this dragon rolling poorly actually was helpful.
DM: As he kind of just, like I said, kind of with fear in his eyes,
DM: looks at you, Andrew, you know, he’s, he definitely was not expecting
DM: proper resistance.
DM: So instead, he does the only thing that dragons know how to do properly,
DM: and he begins to breathe fire.
DM: However, this is a charged attack, and as it’s charging up,
DM: that’s it for his turn.
DM: But you can visibly see the lines tracing on his body going to his body.
DM: But Caitlin, it is your turn.
DM: I’m an oven.
DM: Am I neocle awakens?
DM: Why?
DM: Black.
DM: It’s a bonus action.
DM: Yes sir.
DM: You have so many things here that I can do some very interesting things.
DM: I’m not thinking that you guys would immediately challenge the dragon.
DM: Of course.
Shain: Well, we support that as a city of anime loving nerds. Yes.
DM: Of course you the sun here here I got you chief.
Aerendyl: A fuck?
Shain: Sorry.
DM: Oh wisdom save why.
DM: 29.
Shain: All right.
DM: I’m not thinking that you guys are not thinking that you guys are not thinking that you guys are not thinking that you guys are not thinking that you guys are not thinking that you guys are not thinking that you guys are not thinking that you guys are not thinking that you guys are not thinking that you guys are not thinking that you guys are not thinking that you guys are not thinking that you guys are not thinking that you guys are not thinking that you guys are not thinking that you guys are not thinking that you guys are not thinking that you guys are not thinking that you guys are not thinking that you guys are not thinking that you guys are not thinking that you guys are not thinking that you guys are not thinking that you guys are not thinking that you guys are not thinking that you guys are not thinking that you guys are not thinking that you guys are not thinking that you guys are not thinking that you guys are not thinking that you guys are not thinking that you guys are not thinking that you guys are not thinking that you guys are not thinking that you guys are not thinking that you guys are not thinking that you guys
Shain: We’re going to walk forward.
Shain: Try not to. Oh, I have a move.
Shain: I forgot. I know I didn’t see that part that part. I’m going to walk up next to Eric.
Shain: I.
Shain: I’ll put a hand like next to rate on air going shoulder and say, please allow me.
DM: momentary stasis
Shain: I will try and use momentary stasis.
Shain: He.
Shain: He needs to make a consaving making that easy. He’s got so much HP.
Shain: But we’ll take over.
DM: I’m sorry. You’re your casting moments or your stasis of the dragon.
DM: Okay. Okay. I’m misunderstood. I’m misunderstood. I’m misunderstood. I’m misunderstood. You’re casting it on an angel. I was like, why would you do this?
Shain: I wasn’t doing that to answer. No. No. No. I was like allow me.
DM: I think that it’s the two should save you.
Shain: Please, please guys. We need a net one. We need that one.
DM: should save it throw? What’s the DC? All right, it is so improbable for him to
Shain: Not one. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. That one.
Shain: It’s got to be 18. That one. That one. That one. That one.
DM: fail this. Dirty 20.
Shain: Cronel shift reroll to disadvantage.
Shain: Two.
DM: 21.
Shain: Please.
Shain: Let me be useful. Fine. I’m dead. Next time.
DM: I’m sorry. Dragon, your turn.
Shain: It’s okay.
Shain: I’m dead.
DM: His mouth is open as he’s preparing to cast the, not necessarily cast, but to brief fire.
Aerendyl: Can I miss you step to the tooth and throw my bomb and just jump?
DM: You totally can’t.
DM: Well, I don’t know. You don’t know. You never tested this. You’re hoping beyond hope that it will work.
Aerendyl: It’s tempting to do that.
Shain: Do it.
Shain: Just got to chuck it in there. You got to have like name.
Shain: You got to throw that out.
Aerendyl: I’m sorry.
DM: I will also, I feel like I do have to remind you. Keep in mind that this explosion is not triggered by fire.
Aerendyl: I have to pull the pin.
DM: As a friendly reminder, this is a magical explosion. You have to pour magic into it.
DM: You have to pour magic into it and then the reaction of the spinny things with the specific makes of sand and other stuff pauses and explosion.
Aerendyl: Sorry.
DM: Yes, but what I’m saying is that it’s not necessarily fire based. So just keep that in mind.
Aerendyl: Didn’t I craft it specifically towards if I pour magic into the fuse?
DM: Second of all, you have no idea. Like you have a general idea of how powerful these bombs should be.
Aerendyl: I mean, it should still cancel.
DM: If it will be effective against something like this and a unit if it is effective.
Aerendyl: If it explodes, it should at least affect the breathing attack.
DM: Yes, theoretically, but keep in mind that if it does succeed, you will still almost certainly be within the radius of.
Aerendyl: It’s not that strong.
Aerendyl: I’m going to jump to the tooth and throw it and then jump around and get under his head.
Shain: I just realized this is our first dragon fight in dungeons and dragons.
DM: That’s what you like to do.
Aerendyl: What are the odds this hurts my teammates too?
DM: Pretty decent.
Aerendyl: Do I do it boys?
Shain: Two.
DM: Your bombs generally create creators from what you know and understand about a dish feet.
Aerendyl: This shouldn’t create a huge creator.
DM: Well, yes, what I’m saying is that the force is generally exerted upon like 80-ish feet.
DM: So them being as close as they are even through a dragon should theoretically still take some force.
DM: But like I said, you’ve never even begun to test this. This is all second hand knowledge and hopes and prayers.
Aerendyl: Before I do this, do I have consent from the party?
Aerendyl: This is definitely a metagaming thing, but I want consent at least.
Aerendyl: The force could impact you.
DM: Mm-hmm.
Aerendyl: Andrew, do I have consent to do this?
Aerendyl: My plan is to misty step onto his tooth, throw a bomb and get under his head and let it explode.
Aerendyl: I’m just saying this could hit you as well.
Aerendyl: There might be some force that hits you.
Aerendyl: Shame.
Aerendyl: I want to do this.
Aerendyl: If possible, can I misty step onto his tooth, chuck it deep into his throat while activating the fuse?
Aerendyl: I’m going to chuck it in there and then can I use the…
Aerendyl: Not that, not that, but I’ll jump under his head.
Aerendyl: I might take some fall damage because I don’t know how far he is from the ground.
DM: I’m just going to step up to there to throw it in and then jump down.
Aerendyl: Misty step or I guess depending on how long the fuse is, I would activate it now.
Aerendyl: Misty step, throw it.
Aerendyl: Jump down.
DM: Yeah, you certainly do that.
DM: As you kind of jump down, you hear the sound.
DM: Just as the dragon kind of moves forward as though it’s about to throw up.
DM: And then after a couple seconds, it burps with a little bit of smoke coming out as it burps.
Aerendyl: Yes.
DM: You successfully interrupted the metric.
Aerendyl: interrupting in his best case scenario.
DM: Not entirely positive.
Aerendyl: W-Me.
DM: But it kind of took a second as it’s struggling to function.
DM: However, my friend, as that’s the end of your turn.
Aerendyl: I still have movement.
DM: Did you want to use it?
Aerendyl: After the explosion.
Shain: Also theoretically, I don’t want to be like a problem, but how the dragons face was 30 feet off the ground, right?
DM: Mm-hmm.
DM: Well, no.
DM: Like I said, whenever he was approaching, he had his head down to kind of be like in eye level with what’s his name.
Shain: Pretty much. Yeah. You would be fall prone and you would have taken all movements. Right?
DM: So it’s actually not that bad at all.
Aerendyl: Also, I have my metal leg.
DM: Like it may be like, poor-ish feet.
Shain: Okay. Okay.
DM: You’re actually kind of crouching underneath the dragon’s mouth.
Aerendyl: Including me or not me because I’m like underneath the bed.
DM: The rest of you take two points of nausea damage as the dragon has really bad breath.
Shain: That’s who exhaustion got it.
Aerendyl: I’m like underneath the bed.
DM: Don’t be your safe.
DM: You’re under the mouth.
DM: You just get a little bit of the after effects and you can smell a little bit of bad eggs.
Aerendyl: Since I interrupted his action, does that mean he can’t take an opportunity attack?
DM: I can’t pause the list there yesterday.
Aerendyl: I feel like I can dart faster than he can hit me with a melee based attack.
Aerendyl: Unless he uses wings.
Aerendyl: But I’m going to try to dart over to here.
DM: Unfortunately for you, the dragon was kind of stunned by the surprising burp and did not take an attack of opportunity.
Aerendyl: Yes.
Aerendyl: So if I had to guess, I didn’t put enough of the stone inside the grenade to actually do a lot of damage.
Aerendyl: Either that or his height is so tough.
DM: It is not a good turn.
DM: Oh, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, I’m sorry, I’m sorry.
Shain: Oh yeah.
Aerendyl: 5 attacks.
DM: It’s about to be your turn.
DM: The dragon does not take a legendary action.
DM: No, he’s just going to save some stuff.
Shain: Well, you get you get three.
DM: Geez.
Aerendyl: What do you think this is?
DM: Oh my gosh.
DM: Yeah, every time.
Aerendyl: We know.
DM: I have actually not done anything but lies since we started session.
DM: Um.
DM: This is what we know.
DM: Anyways, he just kind of looks at you guys.
DM: This is the best you got causing me to burp.
DM: As.
DM: As he saves us.
DM: He takes two steps back.
DM: He just.
Aerendyl: Oh, you’re going to get murdered.
DM: Well, see that’s the trick.
Aerendyl: How can you move when it’s not his turn?
DM: He wants to.
Aerendyl: That’s his legendary action.
DM: He has plenty of movement as a legendary action.
DM: But no, and then all honesty, it’s because he simply built like that.
DM: But yes, it’s now your turn, Addigan Molinson.
Shain: Three.
DM: Yeah, yes.
Aerendyl: Six attacks.
DM: All right, you want me to do it for you?
DM: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
DM: All right, so that’s going to be stash roll.
Aerendyl: Yes, he’s still.
Aerendyl: Ah, fuck, balls, shit.
DM: Okay, how many times you say?
Aerendyl: Three.
DM: Which is an extra what?
DM: Any other bonuses I should be aware of?
Shain: You could do tripping attack.
DM: I really want to want to you want.
DM: Once once again with your thinking you’re just leaving off basically chunks of flash.
DM: Right near the face of the dragon.
DM: As that’s pretty much the only part of the dragon section within range, but it’s what you probably aim for anyway.
DM: You’re you’ve definitely gotten through the arm as one of the slides is actually goes through and the dragon begins to what looks like he’s bleeding, but it looks like his blood is on fire.
DM: So you.
Aerendyl: You should go numbers.
DM: So that that’s certainly a thing.
DM: You certainly you certainly do a numbers. I need to go.
DM: However, it’s the dragon’s time now.
DM: And though you were capable of blocking the fire attack.
DM: It doesn’t seem really concerned about that.
DM: He.
DM: Papa, Papa, I just want to make sure this is correct.
DM: Yes, sir. All right.
DM: Okay, okay.
DM: As he will utilize.
DM: Straight.
DM: And I need all of you to make wisdom saving.
Shain: That way, I’ll do the 10 feet of Nate.
Shain: So how much?
DM: Except for dragon.
DM: A dirty 20 very nice that fails.
Shain: Plus five. So 26.
DM: A 26 succeeds.
Shain: Also, you said, hey, I got an Andrew.
DM: A wisdom saving throw.
Shain: Andrew, did you add the plus from Nate? Okay. Here. Chronoship.
Shain: Chronoship.
Shain: You reroll again, Andrew. This is my last one.
Aerendyl: 22.
DM: Chrono shift zoom in and hence.
DM: Lucky.
DM: So genius.
Shain: I mean, that’s a saving throw a saving throw.
DM: 22 that fails.
DM: Yes, you’re safe.
Shain: I mean, what?
DM: What did you got your Ergorn?
DM: I’m so sorry that just fails.
DM: Those that failed.
DM: Unfortunately, you are now.
Aerendyl: I said.
DM: I’m looking for the word I forgot the word.
DM: Thank you.
Aerendyl: Prone frightened.
DM: Well, I might have said it and I just forgot.
Aerendyl: But I can use a lucky.
DM: So.
Aerendyl: I can use another one.
DM: Did you already use one?
Aerendyl: I can’t use it.
Aerendyl: I’m not going to count it.
DM: Well, if you had if you had used it and then roll it.
DM: Yeah, but not not you don’t get the role first.
Aerendyl: I’m not going to use it.
DM: So yes, unfortunately, you two, including anime character,
DM: is currently frightened of the dragon.
DM: Yeah, I know, I know.
DM: I’m pretty sure.
DM: Yeah, for the record, Caitlin Moon song, who goes next can just kind of undo that.
DM: I’m not sure if she has a spell called heroism.
DM: If it’s prepared, but I don’t know if it’s not.
Shain: Chronos action.
DM: That is unfortunate.
DM: Now with his actual.
DM: Until his turn.
DM: Yes, it’s still his turn.
DM: Yeah, it’s the end of this turn.
DM: I just told you that you could do that on your turn.
DM: Unfortunately, with his actual big boy action, Mr.
DM: Ergen Wartinson.
DM: Just real quick.
DM: What’s your AC looking like right now?
DM: 21.
DM: Well, the dragon.
DM: He’s going to do a thing where he’s going to roll a 33 to attack.
DM: As he goes to bite down on you.
DM: That wasn’t that 20 right now.
DM: Okay, I was just.
DM: As he’s going to go to bite down on you.
DM: And he’s only going to that’s it.
DM: Man, that sucks.
DM: I was going to be 29 damage.
Shain: That one’s put me under.
DM: 29.
Aerendyl: How would that put you under?
Shain: Yeah, yeah.
DM: That’s what you’re paladin.
DM: Well, it’s got some hip ones.
DM: You know, man,
DM: let’s because he’s taking this.
DM: Me and why did he decide to waste like that?
DM: Oh, well.
DM: Oh, that’s why.
DM: I’m so sorry, guys.
DM: I rolled the wrong thing.
DM: Give me a second.
DM: Hang on.
DM: I that’s on me.
DM: I clicked the wrong thing.
DM: I fixed it.
DM: Sorry.
DM: Super sorry about that one.
DM: Does it still hit?
DM: Okay, 29 still hit.
Aragorn: Oh, wait.
DM: I.
Aragorn: Actually, it rings.
DM: That’s going to be 62 points of damage.
DM: I was wondering why it was so off.
Aragorn: I was in melee.
DM: Um, so it was his mouth.
Aragorn: I’m going.
DM: It’s a bite.
Shain: See that.
DM: It did 62.
DM: Take one D8.
DM: Oh, yeah.
DM: That’s going to be five.
DM: So.
DM: Congratulations.
Aragorn: Yes.
DM: You got five.
DM: I got it.
DM: It’s already reflected in his head points.
DM: Cat, you cannot be up here.
DM: I’m doing drugs.
DM: Um.
DM: But yes, with that, the dragon’s turn ends.
DM: It’s now your turn, Caitlin.
DM: Oh, yeah.
DM: Sure.
DM: Chris.
DM: Everybody clap your hands.
DM: Thank you.
DM: I think I see where this is going.
DM: That’s why you asked.
DM: Forever go.
DM: Does that count as a weapon?
DM: I don’t know.
DM: I love how this is all happening at the same time that the dragon is just
DM: just trying to get out of the way.
DM: Like the dragon just.
DM: You guys.
DM: Hey, I have a trade.
DM: What you did is just biting down on him and he let’s go.
DM: It’s just it’s all the same person.
DM: That is before he does what he’s about to do, which may or may not affect things.
Aerendyl: I just envy you the fuse of magic.
DM: No, no, actually, you just apply some magic and then explode in your hand.
Shain: I’ll feed it. I’ll feed it a fifth level spell.
DM: Well, let me ask.
Aerendyl: Wait, but enter’s there.
DM: Let me ask this.
DM: Are you throwing it from where you are?
DM: Are you running up to the dragon?
DM: Are you trying to do anything special with it?
DM: Or are you just.
DM: So you don’t have to jump up or you can kind of throw it in.
DM: I just want to check.
DM: As you kind of use your perfect weapon control and you’re throwing it.
DM: The kind of bottle.
DM: It begins to just pull in pretty much every form of energy around them, including but not limited to the fire and lava.
DM: As it.
DM: And it is just it pulling the inner the specifically the energy out.
DM: So it’s not pulling in the lava.
DM: It’s essentially cooling down all of the lava directly into rock and pulling that heat directly into.
DM: As it’s been thrown into his mouth.
DM: You can see what it appears to be just energy being pulled out of its mouth into the bottle.
DM: As you can hear the glass kind of just bounce kind of down in built settles.
DM: And a couple seconds later.
DM: The explosion is what I’m looking for.
DM: How possible.
DM: It’s.
DM: The explosion seems almost direction.
DM: The direction.
DM: Like it’s not a fool this way.
DM: It’s purely at the tops and bottoms of the bottom.
DM: So what ends up releasing is what would happen if God’s judgment was cast down as a beam of energy just shoot straight down and straight up putting a whole directly at the neck of the drag.
DM: As it continues to pull in the energy from all around it into this beam.
DM: You notice something peculiar.
DM: The parts around the dragon that it’s pulling the energy from appear to just fade out of existence before being replaced as the dragon clops to the ground and disappears as though.
DM: The whole dragon is gone and disappears as if it was purely an illusion from the box.
DM: And with that we will in session.
Aerendyl: I have a singular question butter.
DM: It is gone.
DM: But for the record the beam of energy is still just kind of chill in there, pulling in energy from this round things which you’ll figure out what happens.
Aerendyl: I’m going to ask you a question.
DM: Very much so.
DM: Oh that was fantastic.
