Session starts Skyfire 31st at 6:30 AM
Shainâs Adventure
- Shain, in his room at the inn, is messing with his Dodecahedron.
- He calls out to people and no one responds.
- He decides to use power transfer to yet again input magical energy, (All 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and one 4th level spell slot.) This, causes a small portal to open and Trug to get plopped onto the floor. Trug was not expecting this, and lands ungracefully.
- Shain questions him:
- S: Why should I avoid Lumin
- T: I cant tell you
- Are you a friend
- In a sense
- S: Why should I avoid Lumin
- Trug claims that he is on the side of âpeaceâ and that it is not the same peace that Shain is after. He also claims that Shainâs home is not peaceful anymore since he left.
- Trug begins to drop into the ground as a portal opens, pulling him. Shain grabs him, getting himself pulled into the portal as well.
- He looks around seeing the inside of this portal it is similar yet new.
- Shain allows himself to fall through the portal.
- Shain attempts to pull himself up to reach trugs face, but he slips, loosing grip entirely and gets left behind
- Shain is stuck, motionless as Trug moves away it is clear he is the one creating a safe place to travel. Trug is at the center of an ovoid similar to a starship at warp. Now that Shain is alone, the walls begin to close in on him, he realizes that there is not any air in this space, not that he is suffocating, but he cannot push against it to swim or fly or anything.
- As the wall closes in further, Shain touches the wall as his vision splits into three variations, past, present, and future, only split by a couple seconds.
- Shain tries using chronurgy magic to try and repel the âwallâ, however, this only makes it stronger.
- Shain decides to touch it, he sees his future self touch the wall first as it goes blank. His present self touches it and gets pulled into the wall.
- He plops to the ground in familiar gravity, but when he looks around, the environment is anything but familiar.
- The environment is strange, he is on a platform in space. There is an archway with a statue of what appears to be a powerful wizard to his right, he notices a goblin.

- Shain approaches and asks where he is. The goblin turns to him, and with stars in his eyes, he says âYou are not supposed to be here yet, leave!â as a portal opens and Shain gets pulled through a portal back to his room.
- Shain lays down, confused.
- He decides to reach out to Trug using sending, informing him of his little escapade. Trug claims to already know, saying that he was in the wrong for allowing Shain to do that. He does not respond to any further questions.
- Shain decides to head to Lumin as it was the one place Trug said not to go.
- As he enters Lumin (not inside the gates) he notices that people are very concerned. There are also far more soldiers posted everywhere than normal.
- He views the city through the eyes of his bird, noticing something peculiar; there is a long line of people walking in from the eastern gate towards the castle. He can tell that the people are citizens from Bremstone, those who followed Vexmortis
- Shain attempts to enter, but is sent away by a guard at the gate, telling him that the city is âclosedâ until further notice, he says that it is for the safety of everyone. Finally, he also claims that Vexmortis was killed by the soldiers, not the party.
- Shain uses his bird to spy into the castle, he sees into the war room, but he notices that the queen is missing. In her place is a older man wearing white cloak, frail, wearing purple and gold jewelry.
- He decides to send a message to Trug asking him for information about the man, the only response is to leave immediately, as that old man is a bigger threat than Shain could possibly know.
- Finally, Shain uses Temporal Glimpse on the old man, hoping to get some valuable info. Instead, he gets a vision
- He sees the nation of Luminevia (Country), the Queen dead to the side with the old man sitting upon a throne looking down, 5 people flanking each side of him, each with their own thrones.

Not this exactly because it doesnât match the vibe, but general concept.
- Shain reaches out to the Queen, warning her of the old man, she says that she is too busy for this and that the man is a trusted partner.
- Shain gives up and heads back to the party.
- Together again!
Yinlareâs messed up plan
- Yinlare leaves the inn looking for someone sketchy. finding a man who is shadowing a fat merchant, Yinlare disguises himself as a woman and approaches, asking the shady man to kill âherâ husband. She promises gold in payment and tells the man that her husband is in a specific house to the north.
- Yinlare then goes to the house and awaits the shady mans arrival.
- Eventually, the man arrives scouting out the house.
- Yinlare one shots him non-lethally. He interrogates the man, robs him, and takes 2 pieces of paperwork that the man had, although encrypted, one page has the image of the fat merchant with a lot of information, while the other is a very short message.
- He acquired many items, two daggers, a shortbow, and 204 gold.
- He writes a message to Shain, sliding it under the door. A simple âhey we gotta talk when you get a momentâ type message.
- Together again!

- As Shain gets back to the inn, he arrives at the same time as Aerendyl and Thardem.
- Aerendyl names his brown horse âDark elf Killerâ (Booshnifer in elvish) and takes him to a stable to keep em. (he has to pay when he picks up the horse.)
- The party cant really figure out their plan and discuss it for many in game hours.
- The party discusses things, Shain tells the party that he thinks he is from a different time. furthermore, he says that he takes blame for the supposed death of all his people. Aerendyl tells the party of his adventure in the mountains.
- They finally decide on a general game plan, they will return to Bremstone and look about, before heading to the mountains, moving upwards checking the cave with the sands, then to Treltonia.
- They decide to sleep and head out in the morning.
