Session starts Moonblossom 16th 800av 8AM.
- Aerendyl says goodbye to Shylah
- They notice the road is frozen over with ice, yet it doesn’t seem to bother the people.
- They look for a low class bar to hopefully find a source of income.
- They arrive at the Guilded Crow, A bartender greets them and hands them a menu with two options; bread or beer. They opt for bread.1 The bartender provides them with stale bread. Aerendyl, unhappy with stale bread, attempts to replicate the handwriting on the note by writing “fresh bread” on the menu.
- They are able to fool the bartender who reluctantly starts making them fresh bread.
- Yinlare notices that some people are playing a variation of Texas hold ‘em and Blackjack. He, for some reason, decides that he will screw with them.2
- Yinlare actions cause the men to be upset, and threaten him in response.
- After some deliberation, Aerendyl distracts the whole bar while Yinlare heads to the bounty board and takes them up.
- A nearby guard for a noble warns them not to go after the bounties as it is likely to end in death. He instead offers a job. Telling them that some marauders from Coldera had recently robbed a shipment of his boss and he needs it back. They agree on 300 gp for the safe return of the cargo.3
- With no pre-warning, Yinlare threatens, and kills a man. Telling everyone else to stay where they are as he goes and gets the guards.4
- When he returns with the guard, he is told that they must come back tomorrow to acquire the bounty. Aerendyl/Yinlare do take some gold from the now prisoners before leaving, they get 112 gp and a recipe for good bread from the bartender, as well as a 19gp advance on the bounty.
- When they go to their inn, they learn through not so kind questioning that the current attendant’s husband beats her and her child. Aerendyl and Yinlare do not take kindly to this. They procede to track him down, disguise self as a child to test the man. When he fails the test, he is beaten and killed by Aerendyl while experimenting on him.
