- Upon entering, they find the front counter empty but manage to ring for service.
- A finely dressed man welcomes them and offers a room with two beds for 25 gold.
- After some haggling and splitting the cost, Aragorn pays in full.
- The inn has a pet fee of 5 gold, but Shain dismisses his crow to avoid the charge.
- They are assigned Room 112, third on the right upstairs.
- Before sleeping, Shain sketches the dodecahedron, planning future experiments.
- Investigation check (26) reveals that the dodecahedron has darkened slightly.
- Around 8 AM, they receive a complimentary breakfast, delivered by staff.
- Over breakfast, Shain reveals his visions of impending death due to time strand. He also shares that Trug confirmed that Karsus, Shain’s former master, is still alive in some form.
- Shain decides to seek Karsus as the only person capable of fixing his situation.

- Yinlare informs them of a captive associate of Mr. Kendral as well as the fact that he is now running an illegal operation. Leaving Aragorn and Shain confused.
- The shopkeep overhears, and Aragorn bribes her with 100 gold for silence.
- Archon and Shain use the Orb of Zoom to send a reply. Giving a basic rundown of their current situation.
- They leave, debating how to handle the situation.
