Bio
Eggsy looked like your typical traveling wizard, with his magical wooden box loaded up with all sorts of odds and ends. But as people got to know him, they discovered there was much more to Eggsy than met the eye.
Eggsy grew up in a town called Gromir, in Stoneshield. His family—dad Fir, mom Potelia, brother Grtizo, and sister Bacinza—were the foundation of his upbringing. His mother was once a princess in a far off kingdom, she never told her children the name, but left it all to be with Fir. She often would speak of the castle she grew up in with a glimmer in her eyes. Their home was steeped in magic and tradition. His father was a master wizard and it showed, from his magical clothes to his high quality staff, anyone can tell, with a single glace, that this was a mage to be feared. Fir used his knowledge and power, not for selfish reasons, but for the safety and protection of his family. He kept a detailed spell book that listed every spell he ever learned, these spells were annotated, described and explained in a way that any person, regardless of magical ability, would be able to read them.
Right from the start, Eggsy stood out with his thirst for adventure and sharp mind. While Grtizo pursued culinary expertise and Bacinza aimed to become a court wizard, Eggsy dreamed of something beyond their lands. He had a desire of gold. His wish was to one day have enough money to buy his mother the castle she deserved.
But tragedy struck when their father, Fir, passed away in a magical accident, leaving Potelia to raise the kids alone. Despite the loss, Potelia remained strong, teaching Eggsy about loyalty, compassion, and resilience. His dream shifted from buying a castle for his mother, to buying one to protect his mother. However, he realized just how difficult acquiring a castle would be, even if he had the gold, but persists in his child-like wish nonetheless. After the fire, Eggsy investigated the fire but was unable to find the cause. However, he did find his father’s spell book. Eggsy used this spellbook to teach himself powerful magic, eventually becoming an Awakened Spellbook through the constant flow of magic that Eggsy used in desperation to learn.
Though Eggsy was loyal to his friends and passionate about noble causes, he’d been hurt by someone before. One of his closest companions, Hamza, turned out to be a traitor, betraying Eggsy’s trust for personal gain. He lied to the leader of Dropni stirring up mistrust and almost causing a war.
Thankfully, Eggsy’s innocence was eventually proven with the help of another friend, Frentos, who risked his own reputation to vouch for Eggsy.
That betrayal left Eggsy more cautious, but because of Frentos, he still believed in the goodness of people. He knew true friendship was rare and worth protecting, even if it meant the possibility of deceit.
Eggsy wasn’t just in it for profit; he used his trade to support causes he believed in, whether it was aiding villages or supporting rebellions. He also took payment in scroll, when offered, to advance his magical talents. He often sends gold back home to support his family.
Despite his tough demenor, Eggsy was a kind soul. Most of his profits went to charity, supporting orphanages and hospitals across the land without seeking recognition.
So, Eggsy traveled the realms, a mix of wealth and kindness, intelligence and loyalty. His motives are confusing and a shining example of an oxymoron, yet he stands true to every part of his personality.
Eggsy does not have a middle name!
Adreil
- Three and a half years ago, (2210 A.C.) whilst Eggsy was smuggling fusion cores from an advanced society. Unfortunately, Eggsy had left his box at home. As such, he was forced to carry the heavy box. Whilst struggling with the weight, he ran across a strong goliath anthat was looking in the sky, confused by the vehicles. Eggsy asked him to help him carry the box in exchange for currency. For some reason, the goliath ran away, it confused Eggsy for a bit, as all he did was offer him some money to carry a box. Not to mention the drastic size difference. there was no need to be concerned for hiss safety. Eggsy decided that this was too much effort and turned around to leave. It was then that the goliath turned back and asked
Hello? Eggsy cautiously respondedNo need to fear, I simply need a box to be moved. Even though Eggsy expected a simple reply of yes or no, instead he got a puzzling response,is that an order?. Eggsy began to think something was seriously wrong with this goliath, maybe a brain disorder. Eggsy decided that he would play along and responded yes. The goliath joined Eggsy in his travel to the inn at such a time, Eggsy paid the goliath with 2 silver coins. Instead of a thanks, the goliath looked puzzled. The goliath asked, where do you want these to be moved?. It was then that Eggsy realized that this poor goliath knew not of currency and was being to be pitied, for he did not know the joy of buying whatever you wanted. Eggsy asked the goliath if he had any family that Eggsy could talk to. Upon his response, Eggsy took great pity of the answer, what's a family?. Eggsy decided it was his responsibility to guide the poor soul in the ways of economy. As such, he told the goliath to join him in his travels. Before they took off together, Eggsy asked the goliath for his name, hoping beyond hope that he had one. His response confirmed Eggsy suspicions, this poor soul was a slave. His response was a question,my number or my name?. Eggsy promptly requested his name once again. Fortunately, the goliath responded with Adreil. - Six months after, (2211 A.C.)(Three years ago from now) Adreil has officially joined Eggsy as his muscle, both as his guard and for heavy lifting. He now understands basic economy and money. Eggsy got a fake id through The Absolute Will to allow him to pass through to different districts unobstructed. Eggsy still doesn’t trust Adreil all too much, but slowly trust is building.
- One year later, (2212 A.C.)(two years ago from now) Eggsy explained to Adreil that he smuggles things into places they don’t belong, and why he does so. Eggsy trusts Adreil more than most people at this point.
- One year later, (2213 A.C.) (one year ago from now) Eggsy and Adreil are basically best buds. They have had many a venture together, and know each other very well.
