- Shain and Aragorn rush down to talk to Ner’ees. Eventually finding out that they are the only people left on the ship.
- Ner’ees rushes to fix food as she begins to stress cook. Shain and Aragorn go around, looting the ship. Finding magic items, gold, and spell scrolls of varying level.
- They struggle to captain the ship, but eventually figure it out.
- Shortly before getting to Discernia, Shain is able to break into a secret compartment of the captains quarters. Inside is a glass container with a black strand of glowing pulsing white strips. Eventually, he summons Trug who dumps lore on him;
- The item is called a time strand, it allows for one to negate an event that must happen. The item allows for someone to use free will in circumstances where usually free will does not exist.
- Every time that a Dodecahedron is used, it creates a time strand. Furthermore, Trug claims that there is another Dodecahedron and it is being used to mass produce these time strands. It resides to the south in the continent of Nezarma.
- Additionally, Trug tells Shain he is a man out of time. His existence pushes and puts strain on the timeline. Further, his Dodecahedron will react when put in proximity of the other Dodecahedron as they are essentially physical representations of time. Therefore, the two will repel each other as a two magnets of the same pole would.
- Lastly, Trug puts the time strand up against Shain, which shows him his death over countless timelines. Trug says that his death is guaranteed and is unstoppable now that the time strands exist.
- When they arrive at Discernia, they cannot figure out how to stop in enough time, so Ner’ees drops the anchor, ripping the ship apart.
- Shain lights the ship on fire, and turns into a Kongamato and flies Aragorn and Ner’ees to safety.
- Ner’ees expresses the desire to open a restaurants . Shain gives her 1k gp to help her get started, an earing to remember him by, and a Orb of Zoom. Ner’ees gives Shain the box she has that has netherese language writing.
- They bought two horses.
