This city used to be the capital of Gondor until Moondream 16th 781av when Bontrant took control of the city.
The “nation” of Gondor used to have high taxes on its people causing the quality of life to be horrible for the average citizen (lower lower class). Luckily, since Bontrant took control, the quality of life is far better. The people live quite comfortably (higher middle class).
